Yep if they give us bugged phones we can sure as hell bug them.

I've always had excellent service from Ericsson and SE (reply within 24h). It kind of depends what country your in i guess.

It mailed them about the low volume in calls, they replied they'd send it to their tech dep and that I should watch out for new FW updates.

I've just bought a 512mb Sony branded Memory Stick Pro Duo for my k750i. I've noticed that this card seems quiet a bit slower than the 64mb duo card that comes with the K750i. Has anybody else noticed this, or am I going mad? Do you think it's related to the firmware update which I wish I hadn't performed?

I got a sandisk 512mb card yesterday and i havnt really noticed anything concerning file transfer or general phone operation. It might be a slightly slower but i kinda expected that from a much bigger card.

I have also been trying really hard to find the best settings to convert a film to put on the phone, and with the new card initially it didnt seem to play the video as comfortable as the 64mb stick that came with the phone (loss of sound/jumpy) i may have used different settings so this might just be in my head...

Anyone know if theres a thread around here for discussing compression settings for video on the k750?

i've yet to ring 02 about my gprs problems - but will do asap. do they put you on a waiting list for a new handset then? do they send the handset out to us, or do we have to send our faulty ones back first?

@n3x it's a little off-topic here but just a tip: reduce the kb/s to be between 120 and 220

@dreamfish - I don't know how you managed that. I was told they're not getting them in untill 27th June.

spuddle:

I don't know for O2, but for TDC i DK, it depends on WHEN you update!

If you create your accounts and GPRS settings in the old FW version and update, everything will work.

If you update without any accounts etc., you will not be able to create any useful data accounts afterwards. It will NOT function.

OK Guys , need your help here .

I've done everything by the book , updated java , loaded drivers , connected phone .

BUT I get the following error ..

Error in communication with the device

Make sure you have removed the battery and reinserted it. Then try to start the device.
If your device shows an error message or does not start at all, click Recovery Mode
If your device behaves normally, click Start over.
If the problem persists, please contact support.
