@da krypsta: Don't worry, the NPA will definitely prosecute him again- next year just in for the ANC conference.

I am not racist, even tho i sometimes tend to make racist remarks.
Anyway, my (informed?) comment...
I believe JZ should be in jail, for the following.
1) Even tho found not guilty of rape, i believe he did have sexual intercourse with the lady, against her will!
2) He created the misconseption that after having sex, you only need to take a shower and you will not get aids,
point number 2 is the main reason, as i see that as mass murder. People look up to JZ, and believe everything he says, people whom alot of dont know any better. JZ said that a shower prevents aids, so now (this is far fetched) rapists will be more willing to rape as the chances of getting aids is null and void as they will only take a shower afterwards.
About the other charges, i can not say much, as that would be uninformed.
I know, this is all only in theory, but think about it....

So we have a little problem. The car we are using to go to Margate has found a new owner, the way cars seem to do that around here. So we are screwed. The car was Jim's sisters car. What makes it rather $h!t is that she is getting married tonight. How is that for a wedding day?
So what to do? I is not knowing, but that is okay. What to do this weekend?...

Francois, if you were a little closer to iBhayi you could've borrowed the spare car, an ancient Toyota Conqrust
We arrived in Haarlem this morning for a bit of a holiday. The house is exactly as we left it, more than a year ago! It's slightly the worse for wear after the devastating rains, but nothing that we couldn't fix within half an hour of arriving here. What's brilliant, as always, is the fact that it's so peaceful here. No cars zooming by, no doef-doef of taxi sound systems, just the sound of the stream flowing by. Heavenly!

It's Friday guys, who's first to have a beer?
@da krypsta: Are you enjoying a chop over the coals later or are still taking in the beauty of the place?

Not I, said the Wanqing One.
I've got so much to do that I'll be at work until the caretaker eventually chucks us out after 6pm, then it's meandering through the traffic lanes back to the house, another 40-45 minutes at least during the rush hour.
Thus it won't be before 7 tonight for me... Could do with a Bud right now. |

@da wanqsta: By the time you leave the office I'll be at the Ysterplaat Airforce Base, whining with some aero industry hotshots who are in town for an aerospace show.

@Brix, for lunch we had flame-grilled wors which was marinated according to a secret family recipe All was going swimmingly until Lil Ms. Kryptilana took a leap off the stairs which lead to the outside loft where hay and tackle used to be stored. Luckily she landed on the grass, but twisted her ankle in the process, necessitating me to drive to Uniondale for some liniment. The reason for her excitement- she saw some horses in the meadow next door and wanted to ride on one of the ponies, so egged on by her two partners-in-crime who are accompanying us for the holiday, she did the Superman thang Girls will be girls lol

@ Kryptik,
LOL, so horses be their er... Kryptinite then...
@ da Brixsta,
You lucky so-and-so. I was on the base checking out the SAAF museum when we were last home, just to the right of the massive Avro Shackleton maritime reconnaissance static display aircraft.
Actually, the history and value of some of those medals and decorations in some of the display cabinets (as to who wore them etc.) is not advertised in too much detail..they don't have the finances to provide 'sufficient' security for some of those extremely rare items in there. Thus to help avoid potential thefts there's no real big 'song and dance' made about their true origins...or value.
Ysterplaat...eish, but it's amazing that just down the road is a totally different socio-economic neighbourhood; kinda like Selborne being so close to Southernwood in EL.
Beware of those luring ladies on those suburban Ysterplaat street corners...

@da wanqsta: Will definitely enjoy it...the last time I was anywhere near a fighter het was about two years ago when the Swedes came down here to test fly two of the SAAF's Gripens at Ysterplaat. Now I wish I had paid attention during maths class and I would now be flying in those jets.
I'm not that big into WW2 history...although I loved that German movie on the final days of Hitler- The Downfall.
Guys, I'm still in the office and it's worrisome...I need to get out of here

Let's just say that one of those medals amongst the displays in the SAAF museum, for instance, was the only one of its particular kind awarded to any Third Reich pilot, personally awarded by The Fuhrer himself.
'Downfall' was an excellent portayal of Hitler's last days indeed.
The K800i has been reduced further on The Link's O2 online specials. It now costs just £205.99 (approx R2680) when trading in any old brick. No branding on the handset, but it would need to be unlocked.

Eish Wanqa, i drooled over those decorations and medals when i first saw them, collectors pieces indeed, and worth far more than many would realize. I know of a few collectors of medals and such memorabilia who would happily pay incredible amounts to lay their hands on some of those beauts.

Just a quick one about crime, and the car, my mother got freed of 1k this week. White guy. Just proof once again how it is black and white once again. Was at the bank. Case of pickpocket.
I started getting some chords for my next song in place, even though my first song is not done yet. The next song has the hardest guitar line, and me, little old bassist actually got it down. My guitar is improving:) Can't wait to officially start work on my next track:) |

Brix, what's this that 702 is reporting about a plane-crash at the airshow? Just caught the tail-end of a telephone call to the studio, heard that some pilot had been killed.
