@Sharilon, regarding your post on the previous 2 pages. the last line about the P3i ... "support for C++". What do you mean by that?
Not WinCE = Windows Mobile Professional/Standard as an OS right?
or coding support to run native C++ apps? |

I was wondering the same thing. Totally miffed me.
I really hope the P3 has triband 3.5G. AT&T is about ready to roll out HSUPA; this would be the perfect phone to test that on. |

Hey all,
That phone looks like a cross between the W910/W580 in flip form IMO.
A lot of updates to give - nothing particularly new, but a little more coherently layed out.
UPDATE:

[*] W350 photos added.

@Mario
Please, is fine with me if you are confused but STOP confusing others with long postings
It seems as though it is not I who is confused, but it is you if you cannot understand what I am trying to say with my 'long postings'.
My 'long postings' are written more coherently than other fanboyish rubbish that is often shown on these forums, and I'm not going to shorten the posts just because you don't agree with what's written inside of them.
Unfortunately it seems that some people on the net seem unable to grasp simple concepts of business, always asking or more without thinking about the practicalities of constantly improving specifications.
Like HD video recording on a mobile with limited storage?
But as I said, I'm not going to dwell on this anymore in this thread.
@Prom1, laurenke01
I'm as puzzled as you are about C++ support. Interpret it as whatever you want, arunvc is the one who gave those specifications, not me. Thing is, all the other specifications that he's given seem to be fairly accurate
And also, I'd expect the W350 to be announced soon. It certainly isn't photoshopped - it's just taking a while to be announced I guess.
UPDATE:
- The V640 has been announced.
- Added 'Colours' section.
- The K770 is meant to be available in seven colours. Up to now, only beige, brown, and purple have been officially announced.
- The V640 has been seen in white, which has yet to be announced.

Awesome! Thanks for clarifying C++ in the P3i
@Sharilon thanks for the updated info on W350.
I think Sharilon posts like a reporter. I enjoy reading his long posts. Just because we're on the net doesn't mean its all animation, sound, and pictures. The net is supposed to be about information (sure its in its 3rd stage and thus entertainment is now the cash cow, but information is KING). Sharilon provides us ALL a great service by gathering information from various reliable sources - even through research on his own and posts it here in consilidated form ( sorry if your female).
I don't read this thread on my phone because my provider does not provide unlimited data, and thus if have a page contains great information I cannot wait to jump home on the PC to read it. Those complaining of long posts in this thread should consider the same action, or take a gander at my long posts and see if there as coherent . I guarantee they'll be more annoyed.
Cheers. |

That's for sure, the OS will be 9.2 and UIQ could be 3.2/4.0 Symbian 9.2 is needed for HSDPA function and GPS. and of course it should be quadband.

@arunvc
P3 as a slider eh? Sounds nice. I mean, I've always thought that the flip form factor used in the P990 is getting outdated.
It's bulky and now there are much better solutions available. So I really hope it's like those HTC phones with the nice landscape QWERTY keypad.
UPDATE:
- The P3 will probably have a slider form factor.
- DVB-H Phone
A phone with DVB-H is going to be available next year.
@Prom1
Thanks for the kind words about sharilon Spelt shaliron and yes, I am a red blooded male
And I guess I should say now that I will not be doing the 'SE Portfolio Thread for 2008'.
I've got no more time to actively update the thread as frequently as I would like to. As you may recall, it was almost three months behind in updates last week and that's what it would be like all next year if I was to continue editing the thread.
So, what does that mean for the ownership of the thread? Well I've handed it to goldenface. He'll be starting the new '(Insert word here) Sony Ericsson Portfolio for 2008' in around mid-October, so say the 15th of October.
So, I guess this thread will only be open for another two weeks, then it will be closed to make way for next years thread!

btw. why it is P3 while P2 index has not been used yet?
