Does someone know how to get rid of shaky hands? =)

Natural answer would be: "get a tripod" The problem is to find a tripod that can be used with K750/W800. I have seen one on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/SonyErics[....]eNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem But it only sells as a add-on for people that buy the K800 telescope... I have asked the seller if there was a way I could buy just the tripod but no reply [ This Message was edited by: dukempg on 2007-10-20 18:41 ]
yeah, after Your post, i tried to search for it, but no result too.. that would be a useful device

For this pics, try manually setting focus to infinity (EV 0 Zoom 1.1). You should use focus infinity for any pic where the subject is 4 or more meters away from you. You can also change metering to spot off. Focus of picture #2 and #3 seems to be near which I don`t think was what you intended...

Hi !! Thanks for the advice !! I will do that next time. I have just started to learn how to use all EV and Zoom values but sometimes when I use EV +0.7 Zoom 1.1 for pictures in low light conditions (eg. inside a pub at night time) I have to be very steady with my hands as it takes up a very long time to process the picture and save it (sometimes 3 to 4 seconds in night mode), if I slightly shake my finger for a quarter of a second the picture comes out blurry.

 | Sorry, just to make a correction. I was talking about EV +07 Zoom 1.2 (instead of 1.1). 1.2 is when it takes up a long time to store the picture and you should avoid shaky hands. |

 | @rajesh14 To take people pics at low light condition, it's better to use the external flash accessory MXE-60. I posted a comparisson here:
 http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=135737&start=7140
The problem is that real people keep moving, so even if you manage to don't shake your hands, people will move and blur the photo. MXE-60 kills the need of stillness, and coupled with post-processing you can make near digital camera quality at night (again, check the samples in the link)

I made a new wallet reference guide. The idea of this guide is to keep it in the wallet, so you don't risk forgetting the guide and missing it when you needed most. This guide contains Ridersky default options plus the "Ultimate Exposure Computer" shutter recommendations adapted to Ridersky drivers. You can get it here:
 http://rapidshare.com/files/64337939/Manual_c_mera.doc.html

And here's how it looks like in your wallet!

I high recommend reading the "Ultimate Exposure Computer" here:

 Yes it is
And I don't know any firmware mod to change this. A4A 9.1 driver has a workaround: it first tries to save at 98% compression and when it fails it uses a lower compression. It's an alternative... |

The buffersize on w810i is different from that on w800i/k750i. w810i can be set up 700kb+ whereas w800i/k750i max value is only 616kb. This different is caused by the capacity of the rom size, not bcz of the cam module.
