for the software, it has no version. just the 010xxxxxxx and the prgcxc(cruiser) version.

Could you write out the details about the SW-version without the xxxxx?
It's nothing individual or secret.

Just look in the service menu ( right * left left * left * ) and tell us about the SW-Version.

Thanks

Not right, boba :
010xxxxxxx shows, that it's a fw from 2001. Not sure which one it is, but
R320 R3A - is Date: 000215
R320 R4A - is Date: 000512
R320 R4B - is Date: 000628

so I suppose it's the last fw Ericsson developed: R320 R4J.

boba:
if it is swedish made then i was lucky to have that unit. please take note also that there is no R version like the R8a for the t68i. Just the 4 lines I have mentioned above.

gurus:
please update me with all the info i have given so i would know the version of my r320.
The color of the face plate is aqua blue.

thanks guys for the advanced update.

With the BSL 11, standyby time with moderate usage is 2 days.

I have a class A (not original) BUS 10. I have revived actually the original BSL 11 so I have to charge and discharge it to get it back in (not so) full performance unlike when it was still brand new. For now, the 2 days would suffice.
As of this writing, no bugs encountered. Backlighting is evenly distributed. No hanging ups. No unexpected power shut offs.
The only minor gripe was it does not have the delete all feature under the message menu and it does not have the sms counter under the call cost menu. (Does the r320 have? correct me if im wrong). tnx.

again, gurus, whatever info re the software details i have given above would be very much appreciated.

@ynohtna, R version was listed instead of Time stamp since R520. The last SW for R320s was R4J released in June 2001. You got the SW a bit older than R4J.

Okay, let's see:

0101190136
shows that the date of the main-fw is 2001, january the 19th and the time of the fw is 01:36 AM

prgCXC125230
shows, that the main-fw is an R320s_EU4

second part:

0101251317
PRGCXC125188

Modem/WAP-firmware
date 2001, January the 25th at 1:17 PM (or 13:17)
fw is made as regular WAP-file (other R320 have a CO-Wap-fw which is indicated through CXC125283)

well gurus/tigerente/wapt:

many thanks for the info. as the saying goes, "if aint broken, dont fix it". i will keep this unit with the euro version as mentioned previously.

@boba
the bsl 11 i have is with the 850 mah (made in japan, assembled in the UK).
Yes you are right, the unit does not have the delete all sms feature. I have to delete the inbox one by one. I can live with that for now.

again guys, many thanks....

@tigerente wanna see pix of the blue t36, if posible of both. tia

Here's some pics of the unused T36m I got:

The second one from sweden, arrived today, but it's sadly not a T36m.
The only thing that is realy from T36m is the flip.
The mainboard, cover and keypad is T39m, as you can see by the silver keypad and the grey printed ERICSSON-type

But funny anyway, that in sweden there must have been a servicepoint, which has used T36m flip as spareparts for a T39m.

Sorry to hear it was a "fake".. If only i knew what to look for (keypad etc) but i have never seen a T36 before and assumed the differences were internal.

You can see it from the outside anyway. Look at the pictures:
The first two are original T36m, the second two pics are the T39m with T36m flip.

T36m
black keypad and silver ERICSSON print on the cover

T39m
silver keypad and darkgrey ERICSSON print on the cover

Yes of course i see it when you mention it, but as i said, i thought the differences were internal.. (had never given the color of the \\\\\\- logo any thought whatsoever until now to tell the truth).
