There are a lot of unemployed people in Germany. The counter shows us 5 millions of unemployed people.

That is correct, my dad confirmed that. But there are really only 1000 unemployed people, the rest are living off the system, "Trittbrettfahrer" - lazy bums.

@ miss uk: Because we have that less jobs except of 1 EUR jobs! Those 1 EURO jobs hurt the rights of earlier good paid jobs.

There will be less jobs around every year, because one reason is the unions. The benefits are to great, that has been scaled down already. To raise wages ,ppl have to be laid off, so the companies can distribute their earnings to less people every year.
Another reason is the stiff und unflexible employment system and old school bosses. Things take too long, too many egos have to be pleased. And don't get me started on the stiff working environment. You call your boss. Mr. Miller. Here I can call him Hey Bob.

Das Problem hier in Deutschland ist nicht die straffe Organisation in einem Betrieb oder die Wiedervereinigung, sondern die immens hohen sog. Lohnnebenkosten.
Ein kleines Beispiel:
Lohn auf die Kralle pro Monat -> 750,-- €
Kosten dazu kommen:
Sozialabgaben -> satte 620,-- €
Steuern -> satte 380,-- €
Macht eine Summe von 1750,-- € die der Arbeitgeber berappen muss um einen Arbeiter zu beschäftigen (abgesehen von dem Gewinn den er erst noch erwirtschaften muss).
Anders ausgedrückt der Arbeiter erhält nur 40 %, der Staat kassiert 60 % Lohnes.
Man muss nur noch eins und eins zusammen zählen und braucht sich nicht wundern, wenn der Arbeitgeber lieber Leute mit sog. 1,-- € Jobs einstellt.
Anfangs war dieses Thread hier öde und langweilig, da es immer nur um Tee ging, aber in der letzten Zeit ist das wirklich interessant geworden.
