Weird question, the answer depends on your wishes in case of features. Here are many threads of both fones, this one is for t610. Read it step by step to get a picture of it.

@kooki: Your question indicates that the SE T610 will most certainly be good enought for you. But it all depends on what functions are necessary for you.
Why not do a basic comparation between the SE K700 and the SE T610 here at Esato at first?
For a basic comparation between the two phones, take a look at Mobile phones - Sony Ericsson T610 / Sony Ericsson K700i.

Congratulation! Happy for u. So its in the warranty incl? Thats not the usually fixing of it. What happened?

Well, actually water damaged phones are not included in waranty. But still hey did it  They are very good The phone seems good, except that while taking a picture in the viewfinder I notice a thin black line on the top portion, but this is there mostly on the "L" Mode. Will post a picture later. But after saving the pic it dissapers. maybe this is normal with phones. This ph has r3c fw. Their upgrade system wasn't working.

i do think you need some sort of case for the monsoon season atleast.
its pretty bad up in kolkata rite?
does the 610 come with a handstrap?
cos i lost my lovely 630 one. its really worth using it
