Not sick of Turkey. Thanksgiving and x-mas are the only holidays when I get turkey from the oven. So I am looking forward for more. Estimated temperature on X-mas eve 45F (7C).

with Thanksgiving it is all about candied yams or yam casserole with the little marshmallows melted on top. I love Thanksgiving because its the only time I get my fill of yams.

yam isn't much of a breakfast food if you ask me. And yes it is relatively similar to a sweet potatoe.

I suppose hash browns with breakfast would be a form of fried potatoe, so we do sometimes. When I here fried potatoe I think of french fries though, and nobody eats those for breakfast.

Is it true some yanks eat hamburgers for breakkie? Strange method isn't it ;-) we have fry ups rarely, or just sandwiches with sausages, bacon or eggs on, or simply toast as its easiest :-) don't like milk so dont eat cereal!
