Do we have any confirmation from bengalboy, or any other k700 tester, as to the memory allocation problem that existed in the t610? Whereby a photo stored as 40kb actually occupies 80kb for example. Has anybody heard if SE have eradicated this problem?

i think bengalboy said that there are no problems with the memory status on a pic or with something else, i believe he stated that the pic is the same on the pc aswell as on k700.... |

God I hope that's true!!!!
...I'm frightened by what I see but somehow I know that there's much more to come. Immobilized by my fear and soon to be blinded by tears. I know I can stop the pain if I will it all away... |

Question @ BengalBoy!!
Please answer these questions if you can (about k700)
1. Can it received email attachments, if yes then what kind of attachments? (like only pictures all phone support file format)
2. How does the java 3d work. Smooth or slow?
3. Does Theme changing still take time like the t610?
4. Can it browse http/www sites, since it does has 32mb?
5. Do the picture still take up more memory like in the t610

His Answer!
1. Yes the phone can receive email attachements like photos and Mp3's, applications that are designed for it I'm sure can be downloaded and opened as well. I am using mine with my internet2 account which is pure GPRS for sending and receiving. The email client does a wonderful job checking your email and notifying you when you have new email.
2. I only have one Java application, the Converter, and it works very smoothly...the Java games on the Z1010 workd very well...and I assume that is what will come with the K700..Qbert being one of them.
3. Themes take a few seconds to reset and install...I would guess between 20-30 seconds.
4. It only has a WAP browser...it works very quickly and easily...no HTML browser on this device.
5. I'll have to do a little experiment and get back to all of you on this particular issue....taking photos and deleting them put back the same memory that that was there before I took the photo..don't see why it would be different simply because I load a photo from a PC?

This will be my next phone. I wanted to buy a t610 but i didnt because of its lousy camera. K700 has an integrated VGA cam, great,no more f***ing with my mca and bad connection with my t68i.Radio? Wonderful :-) Folder management? Great. Cant wait to come out on the market.

i agree with comrade masseurski, the radio and video recording facility is a big big plus. still with the competition hotting up from other new phones i m unsure of how successful it will be.
too cool to be unpopular in my opinion
