More hours means display can stay longer on...  I don't mean only videos, I mean by using your phone...
Sony is really poor in batterylife. Had many phones, Samsung have the best batterylife or the lowest energy consumption. I reach with them at least 2h more displayhours on... 
Sony: XS 5-6h, ION 4,5-5,5h, ARC S 6-7h (all 1-2days standby max)
Samsung: S3 7-8h, N2 9-11h (both at least 2-4days)
The best screen of all has ION. Now I'm excited how Z will be...

No,Sony have made some phones with good battery life. The best out there is not Samsung but Motorola

I think, Sony has better battery life than Samsung. ....and if I'm not mistaken, since long time ago, Samsung was known as having weak battery life.
I have Samsung S3 (got it free).... and the battery life is not good and the charging time is very long (maybe because its battery size). I like Xperia Arc... quick charging time and longer battery life.
but...I'm going to buy Xperia Z and I believe, it will have the best battery life. |

Personally I'm not that impressed. White Balance is way off in that shot.
So I guess that was a "bad" prototype, Considering the fact that these were taken at CES. |
