Guys what about the internal memory ? It's about 320 mb only
How can we install apps in a Memory like this
Plz don't say that I have to move every single app to the external memory after installing it !
That would take forever ..
I thought x10 had a 1 gb ?? Can someone explain why the hell they put smaller one in Arc ???

Relax, Android 2.3 let you install all of your apps on the memory card.

Really? AFAIK some applications do not let us move them from phone memory to memory card (e.g. Flash Player, etc.)
Besides, Android do not have the option to directly install the application to memory card but install on the phone memory first then move to memory card after installed (if only it is allowed by the apps developer).

is famous for underestimating memory. Look back at the P990 disaster. Let's just hope the final edition of the arc will have enough memory to compete with it's rivals.

I now you guys are all excited about the Arc, but it's not doing it for me. Every video I watch I notice how difficult the Arc is to hold comfortably in the hands. Because it is so thin, there is very little side surface to grip and because the back of the Arc curves the wrong way people seem to delicately balance the phone in their fingertips, unable to rest it in their hands, looking like they're about to drop it! By contrast, the X10 was designed to fit the human hand, and is comfortable and natural to hold.
Also, the enormous area above the top of the display is more than double the area on the X10 and looks completely out of balance. The screen is positioned towards the bottom of the phone, instead of being centered. This is especially noticable when viewed in landscape, with the screen being positioned to the right of center. Too much real estate around a screen dates a phone (the iCrap is a good example of dated design!). Once again, by comparison, the X10's screen reaches closer to the edges of the phone and makes it look up to date.

Will be possible to change the default blue theme?
Am I the only one who is bothered by the blue theme, which dominates the whole UI? If i'll find a SE android phone with the specifications which fits my tase I'll want to personalise the appearance of UI as i did with my SE phones in the recent 6 years... |

+1000000!
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

First of all: I too hate thin phones because they are crappy in the hand and I gotta say that the X10 is much better in that aspect than the arc. But: people do buy thin phones because they think it's cool or something (dunno actually, but they do buy them). And for a thin phone the arc is fabulous to hold. I compared it with the Optimus Black and the difference is huge. Same goes for the Galaxy S and undoubtly the Galaxy S2.
About the display: that could've been better indeed, but I don't think most people care. |

I wonder if SE has realized that they have a cult like user following - not unlike Apple has always had theirs in the computing space. ESATO has grown this user base - I can attest to that almost being here for 8yrs on & off.

I agree. And its this loyal fan base that's saving them from serious embarassment. I myself have been around fr 7-8 years, always sticking to their products. The question is how long can they continue in the same vein? Its just now that things have started looking good, but I'd love to see them going back to their innovative, gamechanging ways, their bottomline might not permit that currently, but surely hoping for it in the near future.

2011, I think, will see SE back to its best. Although, it seems to have left behind the Cyber-shot and Walkman devices. Is this a good thing?
