Theres a download link on SE's fun and downloads site for Opera mini, for X1.
http://www.sonyericsson.com/f[....]neId=11472;contentItemId=33053
Which implies to me that SE surely endorse it.
Did you get your opera mini from them, or from the opera site?
Mind you, just tested, and the SE download link takes you to Operas site anyway.
Sorry, Doministry, i dont use it , so cant help you.

Hi,
I've noticed that my Windows Live Messenger seems to have duplicated all of my contacts, and I am no longer able to block or unblock them, as I get the error message 'That contact does not exist anymore'.
However, when I log onto my PC and view the contacts they are all as normal (i.e only one set, etc).
Has anyone else had this problem?

Ok I tried, link from SE apparently leads to the same version of OperaMini, and it also says - Opera site - it doesn't recognize the phone.
Strange that there's only one app on SE site, hah???
I have other questions:
My email very rarely loads pictures in the email. Usually it shows just a placeholders for them.
I always see the "internet pictures blocked" but when I load them I still see nothing.
Do you guys have the same issue?? And can we UNBLOCK picture loading??? |

Once you click the "internet pictures blocked" link, you have to click it again (it will say something like "Download pictures" after clicking it the first time), then it will download the pictures. I don't know if there is a setting to make it permanently unblock picture loading though.

Thanks, I know,
the problem is after choosing to load the pictures I still don't have them often loaded. Still only placeholders are visible.
It appears again on every emil, just like in Outlook.... |

Is there an icon for the web feeds? I'm used to the RSS feed icon in the Pxxx series. However, I don't see a clickable icon that the user guide discussed.

I second that question!
Probably a 3rd party solution...

I'm using Opera Mobile which as you probably know is preinstalled. It's much better than IE.
 Unofficial SonyEricssonClub.plT10 -> T65 -> T310 -> T610 -> T630 -> K700 -> P910 -> P990 -> P1i -> Xperia X1 + C702 -> Xperia X10 mini + Xperia X10!!! What can I say... I'm  maniac!! |

Have to admit, i'm an old fashioned kinda guy, and i'm happy with Pocket Internet Explorer.
For the amount that i surf on my X1, it does all i want it to do, and i find Opera (preinstalled) a little too different, for me.
I do most of my surfing at home, on the PC, (still using I.E. !) so i dont spend too much time surfing with X1.
I just find I.E. comfortable, so P.I.E. fits better for me.
I did use Opera mini on my previous phone (K800i), and liked it a lot, but saw no reason to try it on X1, with 2 browsers already on it.
