Looks like the X10 will be available in white from AT&T as well. I'm surprised

If SE should re-release the X10 with multitouch capable harware tomorrow and offered current X10 owners a £50 + your old X10 for a sparkly new multitouch one with 'HD' on the back, how many of you guys would be in your local dealers with the cash first thing in the morning?

The next question is how many of you would have paid an extra fifty quid if the handset originally came with multi-touch?

Not sure I would for either option.

I'd probably just wait until the spare HD battery covers appeared on eBay.

What if android 2.2+ would only go to those who had the multitouch capable X10?

I think I'd pay for multitouch. Either way, but I'd stick to my decision to go with X10 instead of Desire with or without multitouch.

After just sending my x10 mini pro off to se yet again i'm left with just my regular x10. Over the last few days i've noticed a reoccuring problem. Everytime i use an internet related application (eg:browser, ebay app) my signal would suddenly drop from full to nothing and after 20 seconds become full again. It will do this randomally until i exit the application and my signal would be fine.
Not sure wether this is a phone, sim card or network fault. I'm on O2 and have a mast 1 street away from my home and also a mast 4 streets away from where i work.

The phone was working fine until about a week ago when this started to happen. Wifi browsing is fine though.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose

@Ricky D i am with you on this,
i will pay the extra money to get the 2.2+, multitouch is not a must for me but it will be great if it came with the package.

Its getting on my nerves now. I think its more likely the sim card as i don't get the problem with another network sim card.

well... i ordered the white digitizer from the site I linked above. Says it'll take 10-15 business days so it'll be awhile before I can give it a try. Hopefully it's good quality and works well. I really don't want to have to deal with any hassles and i'm just unlucky enough that it might happen.. keep your fingers crossed for me.

I would pay extra for 2.2 and multitouch. not that I miss it, but it's a good feature to have it for sure!
Surely worth it.

Ok, this is weird...

Had my X10 for nearly 6 months now and today it suddenly decides to stop charging. The charging orange light comes on, and the battery icon shows the lightening symbol, but the battery doesn't charge via the mains.

I googled it and it seems many others are having the same problem - diagnosed as a connector problem? Anyone on esato faced this yet?

Strangely it still seems to charge via PC usb connection...

And ya i have tried removing the battery, waiting for a while, reinserting battery... nothing.. Aargh - just on the brink of a 2.1 update and my phone charging dies!

that sucks man... i have had no issues with my phone whatsoever!! .. except for cracking the screen but that was my own bumbling fault! it probably wouldn't have happened if i had kept my protective films on it... that'll teach me to leave my phone naked. might have to invest in a silicone case or something...
