I have Touchflo 3D as a panel... and so far I don't have any problem with it.
But, I don't use that panel anymore since it can not render in landscape mode, and sometimes you need to scroll many pages to get what you want...
therefore, I'm using Sony Ericsson panel and very happy with it.
I would recommend anyone to try S2u2 software, which is slider to unlock software like iphone.
I like this software for two reasons :
1. It will automatically lock your phone and switch off the screen when you talk on the phone.
2. the incoming call contact picture is big. |

I would never try TouchFlo.
Tried it on HTC Pro (had it for few days),
And for me SE Panels are 100 times better.

Interesting:
X1 supports ClearType which beautifully supports clearing all the edges,
but why only on horizontal mode??

I'm glad you like your X1. I love mine too  I have discovered something disturbing today... The paint on the batery cover edges is wearing thin  After 3 weeks!? I'm treating my Xperia like a little baby and I'm just wondering what would happen if I used it "normally"?

It's working in both modes here, mate. I've got the largest font size set.

Yep and I'm affraid it will soon turn into silver/black instead of being black/black...
For the moment only black X1 is available - even at SE PL they have only one colour - no silver one in PL... It may be connected with "silver version crack" issue. Who knows.

Go to screen etc.
See: clear type is active to turn off/on in vertical mode,
but once I turn it on horizontal the checkbox is inactive!!!
And cleartype does not work.

I can't tell the difference between ClearType being on or off. I have my text size set to medium (3). With such hi-res graphics on the X1, is it even neccessary? |

It appears I wasn't able to tell the difference either. Sorry, doministry, it's not working in landscape mode here either. |

To be honest I see the difference.
Anyway it's only for vertical...
Sure, graphics on X1 are top notch!

Yeah you can tell a difference when you enable it, but it's really not bad without cleartype though.

by default, the cleartype setting is not available for landscape in WM devices
you can change this behaviour by first enabling cleartype in portrait mode
Start > Settings > System > Screen > ClearType
then using a registry editor locate:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GDI\ClearTypeSettings
Change the value of OffOnRotation from 1 to 0
soft reset and then you will then be able to enable cleartype when in landscape mode too.
