There's a guide somewhere here on esato (found it) that used to work until the updated the PC Companion. If you read the thread a few pages in it describes a process where you copy the files back into the specified folder at as soon as SEUS has finished downloading. You only get a couple of seconds window to do it but it works. I debranded my X10 AFTER the change in the way SEUS works by doing it that way. I got it to work first time but I know it took some people twice or three times to do it properly. The process works, just read the instructions first, get an idea of what's going on then make sure you copy the files over at the right time it should make sense if you can get your head around it.
My phone updates normally after I debranded. I've had two further updates since with no issue and no rebranding.
I don't know about changing the CDA method, I would guess you'd need some sort of root access and a root file browser then a good enough knowledge of the file system to be able to find the right places the CDA is referenced.

@Ricky. I originally tried that method as its similar to how the Satio is debranded. After doing it I never had a full battery. The phone would randomally cut the charging circuit off which sometimes left me with only 2% battery after charging overnight.
Luckly I managed to get O2 to replece the phone for another brand new boxed X10 and went and debranded vis Davinci.
Also. SEUS has been updated to perform in the same way as the PC Companion so it kinda rules that method out as well now.
I tried sniffing coke once but didnt like it. The bubbles kept going up my nose |

The new (and first full) Skype app only runs on 2.1, was released a few days ago. Another reason why I'm getting increasingly excited about the 2.1 update.

Getting an Updated Android market from today morning. New Icon, must faster, with the "update all" feature. Didn't have this before. Guess they have updated the android market silently...
Anyone else noticed this?
