@coola: its like a cycle. can you remember back in 1999, a similar rumour went out before obj's inauguration. in lag, streets were emptyane hoodlums looted shops. have you heard the one about stella being alive and well?
@ambyz: before, the blue gprs tag was constant. then strangely it would only show when accessing a gprs service, eg sending an mms.funny huh? now its blank. only Mtel is up. |

@ abubakar: I don't kno if you've tried this but maybe u either request for the settings again('Settings' to 3888) or switch of your phone for about a minute then switch on again.
If the UAE guys are going to be doing anything new I hope one of them will be Push Email services.Only then will the capabilities of the P990,M600 & W950 be reaaly appreciated.That has been the main thrust behind the Blackberry |

@234hay: push email is already available on all four networks in Nigeria. All you need 2 do is download Emoze on your device and you're set. Emoze is free to download and use.
By the way, what handset do you use, and on which network are u?

@Mamba: I don't know about flurry, but I can tell you that Emoze is a push email and PIM service rolled into one just like blackberry. But not all handset types are supported yet. Use the link areafada posted.
@All: officially Celtel free gprs ended yesterday, so this should be my last post with free Celtel. I anxiously await their tariff structure.

i think i might revert back to the old russian opera version. it seems to be better suited to my needs.

Well, I would say Yar' adua.
We don't need another Military Man (Buhari). I am also certain Yar'adua will rebel against Baba one day. But these are all compromises. The really great candidates stepped down.
@Amby Why not use Celtel today and calculate the tariffs for us?

I really don't want anybody associated with PDP as my next president as far as I'm concerned. I'd rather give the fresh boys like Utomi or Chris if I could. Those old babas have been in Govt and done nothing so why allow them. At least let's change things for once.
@amby, I guess celtel is still free, pls confirm for us abeg "jump on the grenade" 
@Abu, the only available wi-fi phone from  is p990i, and I guess u dont wanna buy that. I really dont trust any UIQ 3 phone right now even if they do release firmware from now till infinity.. IMO, it's a complete failure from SE.
If u need a wi-fi phone, just forget SE and buy a Nokia N80, E61, E70 or even Nokia 9500 which is now very cheap.. |

Amby if celtel has started charging as u said, let us know so i can call cc to restore my gprs, though i calld cc 2 days ago and was told dey are still upgrading, mtn wap n mms has been down in my end for days, am making use of my glo 4 now.
