As eager as everyone is for the fixed firmware I don't think we'll get anywhere by keep posting "where is it" etc......
best bet is just keep checking the thread every so often, as soon as it's released the news will spread like wildfire so just be patient.
although the K750 has got off to a shaky start with regards to faults / bugs I love the phone to pieces & looking forward to many months of happy use. |

I don't think that you are wrong, I also think that it won't be released today, but it's just a guess...
Is it so hard to answer a simple question?

I think it's obvious that it won't be today. Probably won't even be this week! But who knows. Just relax and wait for it to arrive.

Yep - called SE today and he cannot tell me apart from "when the software is ready".
I asked what the problem is due to - is it due to memory timing, throughput etc - he said "I dont know but I am sure that the engineers will have found out by now and will be fixing it"
Comment - if that was true then how did R1J get out there????
Ordered a replacement from O2 today as a back-up plan to SE failing as I cannot reload R1A (which worked apart from the crashes). Also - SE said I could take to SE service centre near Banbury (Oxfordshire) and pay £20ish to reload. |

#VydoLL and #Lazar
I did answer a simple question
It really is pointless to start a debate about that, it doesnt matter if I say I have a source or if Im guessing and it doesnt matter who my source is if I do have a source. There will allways be someone questioning if I say I do have a source anyways. If I say I do have a source there will be 20 posts saying they dont beleive me, and 30 others asking when the update will be ready.
Point is someone tried for hours then asked for advice, which I gave.
You can take it and have a cool beer and enjoy the sun or whatever, or leave it and keep trying.
whatever makes you happy is fine by me

I'd tell them to take a running jump with their £20. Their software messed it up, the least they can do is reflash it to a working release for free.

Oh - O2 are out of stock so 1) my replacement order is delayed 2) I guess SE havent supplied new handsets to O2.
Gone for a beer, put my feet up and wait for SE to pull the preverbial.

Well mines gone back to O2 repair to be reflashed with the old RA1 firmware, took it in today the woman said should take about a week. Fingers crossed it will come back as it was before that darned update with fully working GPRS.
Actually O2 were quite prepared to exchange it for a brand new K750i, but as they have stopped selling it for the time being, they haven't got any in stock. |
