I don't think it's the XZ1 Compact, as I'm expecting them to stick with 720 x 1280 pixels. Neither would I bet on the X1, as the "Premium Standard" smartphones are discontinued. The XZ1 Ultra would logically have 2160 x 3840 pixels, otherwise it would be strange, as the XZ Premium already has it at 5.5". So, my guess is G83XX = XZ1. Also, the XZ is F83XX.
Now for the G34XX: As they announced the XA1 and the XA1 Ultra, my guess here would be it's from the L1 line. Maybe the L1 Ultra to complete the line?
Edit: XA (F31XX) -> XA Ultra (F32XX), XA1 (G31XX) -> XA1 Ultra (G32XX). L1 = G33XX, yup, pretty sure G34XX = L1 Ultra.

G83xx is XZ1...
I have found on asian websites that 3 phones woulb show up at IFA. At first they would be X1, XZ1 and XZ1 Compact.
Sony has said premium midranges are done. So no phone powered by SD660.
Then I found that this semester a new cycle begins, with XZ1, XZ1 Compact and XZ1 Ultra in september, then maybe the XZ1 Premium at MWC in february.
XZ1 : SD835, 4GB, 3000 mAh, 5.2" full hd
XZ1 Compact: SD835, 2800 mAh, 4.6 hd or full hd
XZ1 Ultra: SD835, 6.2" full hd or 4K.
Z Ultra has Full HD for its 6.4". So if there is a XZ1 Ultra, with a full hd screen it would have more than 330 ppi. Not that bad.
Ultra is just a bigger XZ1, not premium to have 4K. But still is possible.
All phones come with new cam tech, they will have better cam than XZs and XZ Premium because these 2 are from 2016-17 cycle, new phones are 2017-18.
Same tech Sony has for A9 cam.
I also know that Sony will use Oled for next premium. Just google Sony STE Oled. 3D screen might be possible.
New cam sensor at IFA 2018. High resolution, giant pixels and no more f2.0.

Maybe a 21:9 phone.
Sony'd rather use 21:9 than 18:9.
Movies are 21:9, so it is easier to use it since Sony Pictures use this ratio too.
Only issue is remote play that works 16:9, it is up to Play Station Division.

The rumours for the X1 are older, than the confirmed news about the discontinuation of the "Premium Standard" smartphones. Nonetheless, that one was saying it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. So, this might actually be another rumour, presumed this is newer and also picking up on the discontinuation of the above mentioned smartphones.
I agree FHD on the XZ1 Ultra would theoretically be enough and still in "Retina" territory, as it is on the XZ1 and HD on the XZ1 Compact. But the XZ1 Compact is the entry to the flagship line, the XZ1 is one above and in the usual flagship, then comes the XZ Premium with some extra oomph and above all the XZ1 Ultra in phablet size. It's nicely staggered, so it would be a step back kinda.
The Z Ultra four years ago had a worse cam, so it wouldn't be unprecedented, but it's also worth noting there were no WQHD or 4K UHD phones back then. Best case scenario would be top camera and screen, but if there are shortcomings, I think the are going to prioritize display over cam, as it's a phablet and they seem to prefer it to have a slim waistline. Assuming there are no production issues for a 6+" 4K UHD display, otherwise that might change a thing or two.
