Looks like the Note 3 can happily go past the 5 minute limit (you need to root it to bypass the limit). Here's an 11 minute 4k video created on a Note 3:

Are you smoking Bro ?(joke ) It is possible Z2 have liquid cooling, but it will not be effective if the heat does not appear outside. As an example - Close the vents on your laptop and see what happens. Wait iFixit review.

DISSIPATING THE HEAT OVER A LARGER SURFACE AREA IS MORE EFFECTIVE THAN THE HEAT BEING CONCENTRATED IN A SMALL AREA.
DO YOU UNDERSTAND??
(Apologies to everyone else for the caps)

This one is a good test since there are a lot of branches and fine detail is essential

Its pretty good for that sensor size category, but the difference to the devices with bigger sensors is obvious.
This one http://hi-tech.imgsmail.ru/hi[....]82cddbaa93cae0d2433ef2319o.jpg is the best out of the bunch but I see a bit of softening in the top right corner of the frame.
and this one
http://hi-tech.imgsmail.ru/hi[....]b0f46601290da09da169dd753o.jpg
is @ 125ISO and there is plenty of noise.
Also, why did he shoot most of these at 4:3 ... I really want to see how the optics are doing in the wide end. |

Well BRO, the heat doesn't have to get out through air/vents (which is by the way the worst cooling method). There just has to be a heat conductor e.g. copper or this liquid cooling thing which is connected to the aluminium frame (which again is thermoconductive). Thus the heat 'gets out' easily without any air exchange.

I would not recommend anyone doing that.
Today I had every reason to record more than 5 minutes, which of course I did. The phone gets very hot and that made me worried. As result I decided to lower the resolution to Full HD which makes a lot difference.

I'd say their grasp of simple physics is a bit better than yours. |
