i agree but that picture was all in auto with a modded camdriver,just a bit of moddification,not all the settings that witchking put it in this new camdriver,and got 6 mb,and the picture i posted before it really was with eltoffer's 3.6.
my question here is why we cant have that kind of picture in terms of mb????? i dont care about the memory,i got an 16g m2 card.
but well that only my opinion,lets see what the real master witchinkg has to say.
I apologize if im being rude or something,but i liked that big sized pictures,cause i have a 8 mpx camera,well i got to go to work.

@NEO
I have seen many pictures with smaller file sizes that also show good details also.
Just because you have one single picture that looks good, doesn't mean a larger file size is necessarily better, especially when you have seen witchking, as well as eltoffer tell you that there is not enough of a difference once you get over 2-3mb to justify the larger file size.
why don't you perform a comparison if you want to prove your case so bad.
load an old eltoffer or dm3.8 driver, take a few 8mp shots, then load withckings latest beta, and shoot the same scenes.. and compare the pictures and 100% crops.
This way you can prove that the bigger file size really shows more details

@ALL
now i remember,that picture i was talking about was taken with cybershot xperience 4.1,please forgive all of you,back then i was uisng eltoffer's camdriver and i saw cybershot xperience 4.1 posted in se-planet,so i gave it a try and i liked,thats why im here,because i found the real source where the camdriver was posted originally.
Again,I apologize.
greetings to all.

how much light is available..effects the detail...and also sometimes different scene take different times to process because of different factors

Hello guys,
this is my first post in this community and I want to say hello
I abandoned my Nokia 5800 this week for 150€ and got myself a SE C905 for 200€ and I am egerly waiting for the postman to deliver *hehe*
I just saw this "Cybershot Xperience v 6.5" thing here and I am stunned! This is more than amazing. I got a pentax K-x (DSLR) with my girlfriend last weeks and some the pictures are "comparable" wow I'd never thought that it is possible to get one day a mobile handset with such a cam. Is VHDR a feature of the cam driver here (so inside the handsetprocessing?)
I have a question: I dont find any howto, tutorial or manual how to install "Cybershot Xperience v 6.5" on my device. Is this a kind of geek-stuff? So, flash your phone, loose your waranty before you can install these things? Like jailbreak, and other things for the Noka5800, debranding and so on.
Or is it a simple process for a user to get in touch with these awesome features.
Thanks for replies in advanced!!!
Best regards from Germany, David |

thank you man, exactly what I searched for. So its a matter of drag and drop to get these awesome features. Cool! Cant wait for my device
Why choose Cybershot Xperience?
So many additional features without losing any of the original ones!
one nasty question again: is there a kind of switch to get CX6.5 to work or is it a seperate program. I understood it that way that it overwrites my original camera stuff and I loose it therefore!?! |

JUST GET YOUR PHONE FIRST. THEN UPDATE THE CAMDRIVER. ASK SILLY QUESTIONS LATER

do your research people.. all the answers to basic questions like how to copy the camdriver to your phone are here in this very thread or in this forum all over the place.
put a little effort into looking, instead of someone else doing all the research for you next time.. ok?
or just PM someone and ask..
can we get this thread back on track now?

phone arrived. I hope its OK, that I participate in this community then (I qualified!?).
And I am sorry that I hijacked your thread - I didnt want that. But somehow there is stagnation since some days. Anyways I am looking forward to implement this awesome piece of code and experiment with the VHDR glory.
@jack20: your New York shots are GREAT! A pleasure to view them |
