Hey guys,i need your opinion on g900's music player...how was it,it is good enough for music lover like me??...i'm in dilemma choosing between w960 & g900....despite the negative users opinion & reviews at gsmarena,i think g900 is a great all rounder...i love the design,the utilize of uiq & d-pad....help me on this,thx  |

My advice, user opinion @gsmarena.com is rarely valid, there is alot of bash and foul infos posted by many of irresponsible users.
Beside of that, i think g900 is quite a choice, it have new revamped menu and brand new organizer

core player is the answer for custom eq's..very good app.

Where did you buy it in Delhi? I stay in a suburb of Mumbai and G900 is still not available here. Though the G700 is.
Are all the accessories that you got with the G900 also available with the G700?
As a user how is your experience with the G900? Are you satisfied?

Deepsme.....does the music player as good as w960's walkman player....i'm using w800 rite now, so if g900 music player as good as w800's walkman player i'm definitely going for g900... |

@paraman, got it from an exclusive SE store in nehru place..dunno about the g700..you can enquire about it on monday..today they're closed.

My G900 has been running good...have used almost all the features once..and no problems, hang ups thus far.
And UIQ 3 has been the most user friendly OS i've seen..having used a Jasjar, tytn2 and an n73..this one is surely addictive..
My only concern is the back cover..which doesn't seem to fit properly..i can see tiny bits of the battery compartment..but very tiny. Hope it doesn't come off when the phone gets its first fall...which it will someday...
@loligo, have never used the w960 player, but yes, my last SE was a w800,it has everything the w800 walkman had, plus the interface is a lot neater. Only negative is the lack of custom eq's, but as i said, core player is the best alternative..

Man, i can't wait to get my hand on g900..thx guys,you're all been really helpful..no matter what other poeple say, g900 is a perfect addition to SE production line:-).....uuum by the way,where can i get this "core player"??

Thanks for your reply.
For some strange reason the G900 is not yet available in Mumbai as yet. Though the G700 is. Even Sony India says that the G900 is not officially launched yet. Wonder what's going on!

i got my g900 ydy.awesome!!!lil slow but when i turned transitions off it speeds up alot.
1 Q tho i cant transfer my contacts from my k750i to g900, why is that |

how come when in camera mode and I have Image Stabilizer on, I can't use the flash?
Is that standard?

yes thats perfectly normal. Don't write to SE asking if they have a bug in the firmware because of the flash failure. Cos, they will only tell you to contact the local dealer for a solution. How I know so much ? Coz I wrote to SE and got that awkward answer even though I specifically told them not to tell me to contact the dealer bcos it was a waste of time...duh !! |
