My reason to feel crap today is i walked out of a Boots store this morning and a bird pooed on my coat. It was a thick blob on my left shoulder. I wiped it off quickly ran into a disabled toilet washed it off dryed it then sprayed it with my body spray. Phew. Was determined not to let it ruin my day. No smell or stain now. Though when it happens you just think NO WHY ME.

Had a heated argument with my boss today. It was intense and full of "yea right, I'm the logical one here"! Based on past experience, I may have to start looking for a new job...

the backlight on my vaio failed today 
fortunately I have an external screen handy so I can use that until I figure out what is the best way to fix it. Apparantly its usually just an inverter that sits under the LCD panel that is fairly easily replaceable. Not sure if I'll give it a go, or send it to Sony, or take it to a laptop repair place in London.
Anywhichway, its come at a really inconvenient time
