From that article, if that is indeed what is used in the K850, we can conclude that it does not make much breakthrough with image quality, except being able to take brighter images in low light situation versus the IMX-18. It has the same noise level at 100% (but this would equal to less noise when both are printed at the same size *correct me if I'm wrong*).

Sensor is not too small, it is 1/2.8" which is actually bigger than some digital cameras with 1/3" sensor (for instance Canon A450), but it is very noisy in 100% view, that's true... |

about the "noice" in full view, im conviced that have some new "pic-profiles" who adjust, whitness, light, color, etc, so the pics looks "real" and beautiful.

I have a question about the scratch-resistant screen. Exactly how is it scratch resistant? Is it a quality of the material, or is it a coating? And how scratch-resistant is "scratch-resistant?" |

"scratch-resistant" == should not get scratched thru normal use during the warranty period ;]
usually layers are used for this. |

I hope that the end consumer product on October won't have its keys peeling off as easily as the demo unit:

And SE should seriously reconsider redesigning/changing the look of the call/end/C/activityMenu keys. They really look so cheap on the K850i. |

I've just realized that K850 has *ALMOST* the same dimensions as W800i/K750i!
K850i
* 102 x 48 x 17 mm
W800i/K750i
* 100 x 46 x 20.5 mm
Difference
* 2 x 2 x 3.5 mm |

i like how ppl are saying the cam will suck ... i cant wait.
sam (xumdeo) even showed you in the video that the AF is on infinite, which means that they havent finished with the final soft/hardware in the phone i say hardware b.c in america at least the FCC hasnt tested the product so you know what everyone has in their hands isnt may not even be whats released. plus the FCC will let us know whats in the phone bit for bit. nothing wrong with putting a few models out there that are underrated ... the press conference was the show off the device, at least we got to handle it as opposed to when the apple product was announced ... which stayed behind a hyperberic glass chamber.
wait for the phone to come out. itll be a decent upgrade, esp for those who dont have the k800i. now that its annouced ppl still cant stop bitching about it ... i thought that would end after it was announced but i see no one is happy ever. lets hope that it can hold a signal.
+WiFi ... come SE you know you wanna!

none of the new phones announced the other day are finalised. of course they are going to go through some changes, some '''could''' be major changes (by major i mean ccd might be chosen over cmos, or vga video, things like that, i dont mean adding gps or something ) engineers are still to make their final decisions on certain things.
