Poor recection - - - - - - -
I see a number of people are commenting that they are getting poor reception on their W910i. I too have noticed this problem. Compared to my K810i, Nokia N95 and a selection of other phones (all more than 3 years old) the reception sensitivity of the 910 is poor.
I have also noticed with 3G enabled in a "average" signal area you get cut off with in coming calls after about 3 seconds. Turning 3G off or being in a strong signal area cures this proble.

BUT...
after about 3 more texts...you'll love the keypad =D |

easy after 2weeks of average texting(i average my calls and texting evenly)
if i messaged more it wouldve taken me a week or less
as ive said it before it just takes time getting the hang of it,, |

Managed to get a new firmware (R1CA039) on SEUS FOTA this morning;
I have not noticed anything new yet, other than the Walkman player now retaining the equaliser settings.
Has anyone else noticed that the phone seems to be a lot slower than the W850i?
The W850i craps all over the W910i in terms of UI and java speed, and even the basics like setting a decent picture as a wallpaper seem to have taken a dive!
Sony Ericsson need to sort out the A200 platform and fast, cos' I'm close to defecting to Nokia S40 (and I don't think I'm alone!)

I have owned a Sony Ericsson W910i for the past 3 weeks and am absolutely digusted with the quality and reliability of the handset.
This is currently my THIRD handset, having had to return the first two within the first week of purchase, due to intermittent phone lock-ups, poor sound quality, distorted speakers and various software issues.
I am now at the point where, if I could, I would return the phone to the shop I got it from and exchange it for a Nokia or Samsung instead, but I am out of my 14 exchange period.
Now I know from having Sony Ericsson phones previously that most of the phone's issues can solved via firmware upgrade, but so far the latest update only served to rectify the issue of the EQ settings not being retained by the Walkman player, which incidentally, caused issues with some phone's Walkman button and menu shortcuts ceasing to work.
I would just like to know how long Sony Ericsson will expect their customers to put up with this type of performance from what is supposed to be a market-leading handset?
