Yea Brym, the M600i is still very buggy but I believe SEUS has a new firmware update that resolves most of the bugs. Plus the rumoured P1000 which most likely will be the M600 successor should be out in a few months.
@mamba: I'm not particularly thrilled by WM devices. I have an iPAQ 3800 series that didn't impress me. But I'll still check Ladipo. Thanks
@coola: like Abu said, if they offer what I want, I'll buy their line. 0809xxxxxxx right?

That's just a pda running on PPC 2002 isn't it? A far cry from pda phone running on WM 2003 or later. Really!
SE and buggy phones:I still don't understand why SE can't get it right the first time. Poor quality control?

The fact remains that WM devices aren't impressive. I don't see what they woulda put in the Jam to make it appeal to me. Still 64Mb ram for a PPC? Plus I don't understand why such a device won't allow you delete files from your memory card and the office applications are shitty.
Maybe I should play around with yours for a while to be convinced.
But they are such ugly devices |

What will be the name of Nitel/MTel when Transcorp start re-modelling, my dear Seers? |

I would suggest they make do with Transtel and come up first with something new in the industry like 3g & edge. if they can silently do this and make a lot of noise with it, they could squeeze out small money from data fans like us. Apart from that, I really don't know what those guys can do to revamp the poor image of nitel & Mtel. |

Transtel.... ok... who is next? A free recharge card for the accurate Prophet.
But, honestly, MTEL and Nitel with 3G and EDGE? Haba Mamba.
U must have fallen for all the Madam Ndidi yarns. She is a Stock broker not a telecoms expert. All that big talk about 1 billion dollars to revamp Nitel.... as if them go pick am for tree. |
