hi guys,
I just managed to find an old & kinda worn-out GH388, swedish made.
I could not seem to get a batt for it so I did some revisions to it, I replaced the back cover with that of a spare GH688 with just 2 battery connector pins from its original four (4) connections with the 388 one.
To my amazement, the unit turned-on its display but after a few seconds it indicates (low-batt) but my battery is fully charged & something at the lower portion near the charging area kinda heats up.
I read the old original battery & it specified 6V as oppossed to the A1018s' battery at 4.8V. I eventually got it to work but it just remains unused not unless I get a REAL battery for it

Just celebrated 1000000 count on my T68i and 25000 flipcount on my primary phone T39(you may think i'm a bit insane or what, but i managed to get S700 and even used it for a while, but i missed my T39m, so:-D...)

@all,
I was wondering with you guys everywhere, except the Philippines, is there a chance that a battery for the GH388 or GH318 available in your area. I've been trying to scout for one but mostly all we got here are replacements for the A1018s & GA628 ones.
Something boggles me with that type of battery as it has four (4) connectors as oppossed to the two connectors found majority of /// models in its era.

as I remember it right, there was a post here wherein he posted a pic featuring 4 hedvigs.
I tried getting it through ebay too but to no avail

Yeah I think he sold one of them, two don't work and one is fully working.
I just had a UK eBay search, no batteries or anything.

btw, how much did you say the T20's cost there? You got one yourself right? or wasn't it you?
