Can someone confirm whether we'll be seeing any more Cyber-shot branded phones?
I know about Entertainment Unlimited and 'Walkman and Cyber-shot' fusion blah, blah, blah, but I'd still like to see another Cyber-shot branded phone in which the quality of the mega-pixels, not the quantity, is the focus (no pun intended).

Depend on how well EU brand going?
I won't ruin your hope for now but also hard to say even predict, current situation seem uncleared and "costs" to put the "brand" on the phone quite high
If chance to survive maybe below EU one, waiting 'til MWC 2010 for more detail and maybe better situation but don't expect to much
IMO, I think EU will be more widespread next year along with XPERIA

(much like Walkman) the brand asset has been overkill. i think the new strategy will somehow shuffle things dramatically.
PS: the new strategy, has to coincide at some point with Sony's strategy (make.Believe message).

Before anyone is asking: http://www.sonyericsson.com/xmas/ seems to be about three free song downloads for Christmas. Nothing about phones afaik so far.

And all 3 songs will be songs that got featured in a sony ericsson commercial sometime between 2008 and 2009. Kidding of course, but 3 songs never actually translate to songs I want. |
