So Froyo is still being assessed for the Xperia X10. That's interesting. Although by the time it is released many would have upgraded to the X12.

Wow. We'll still be able to watch what used to be traditionally flash dependant content but with HTML5 instead if it is indeed supported by the browser. That's all that I need to know. I don't need FroYo anymore

I just peeled mine off. It was quite easy and the screen looks much better without it. Then all you have to do is use a damp cloth to get rid of any excess gum

Aren't you planning to install a new one?

No. If the screen is anything like the one on the C905 then it should last pretty well, but my black X10 going on sale soon now that my white one has been unlocked.
But I can safely say that the phone looks a lot better without the original screen protector on.

Im feeling uneasy about removing the built-in screen protector, but im so tempted as theres a scratch on the lower part of the screen.

@Tsepz_GP when I had the X10(not long) I panicked cos I thought I had scratched my screen so soon & being careful only then to find out luckily it was the screen "protector" that gets scratched easily. It was damn hard to remove

@goldenface
Thanks to you I have pealed protector off.
I have used screen protectors with my P900 and P1i and at last ending up using them without one.
Now screen looks better and feels better. We'll see how things will roll on

@Offliner
The original screen protector required a screen protector to protect it from being scratched but what's the point of having 2 screen protectors. It does look better without the scratched one on, but I'd still consider a new and better one.

Yep, the built-in one is weak it seems, looking back at my K850 i removed its one the day i got the phone and to this day not a single scratch, think im gona go ahead and remove it.
Before i do, is the X10's screen made of mineral glass like the K850's? Im going to have my X10 for a VERY long time, and cant have its display being scratched easily after just 3months of ownership.

Nevermind, did some Googling,apparently it does have a Mineral Glass display, went ahead and took off the protector, took a lil while i must say, they used some hardcore glue (or whatever it is) to put it on, most people wont even realise its there, anyway the screen feels a lot more responsive, and it just generaly looks better especialy under sunlight.

What did you use to remove it?

Removed it,
Has anyone experienced the phone unlocking itself when in the pocket?
I'm guessing removing this protective layer, will make this situation worse?
