@paul- I am guessing you tried the X10 as well. Did the device feel fast?
@badassmam- The vimeo video looks really fast with a little lag. Dont you think the hardware is capable of handling any UI given that it is used in netbooks and garners more resource hungry applications? |

The Black Diamond is a few years old now so I guess that's in the archive with Reese, the other WinMo phone and Paris. It would be nice to see these cancelled phones if anyone has pics, won't care if we get some leaks. I said that the stick phone whatever that is looks like a door wedge, but that's from the picture. Reese is a door wedge for certain.
Every X10 I have tried (even the later ones) seem way too laggy. Its got to be a software thing but all in all, the hardware is nice. I'm no fan of Android and to me, X10 UI is pretty but not smooth like Sense UI. A few people are talking about screen issues but its lovely. X10 is also boosted since the HTC rival is on hold. Its still behind HTC HD2 which is very well optimised, you can pinch and zoom while watching movies without any slow down at all!
Kurara is a small device so it has appeal, it will go toe to toe with Nokia XM whatever when that arrives. Design is a bit off for my tastes but I'm eager to see how much of the X10 UI design is applied to Kurara. I have been told that the UI will be slightly different to Satio so expect some positive changes. This is their attempt at a 'cash cow' phone so its one to watch out for because its getting a lot of attention and could be a big winner.
Anyway, a second Android coming. Its not as tricked out as the X10 but it will be cheaper. There is also a phone that is similar to the N97 with keyboard, touchscreen that is on Symbian. We are going to get another Xperia as well so stay tuned for that. I have been sniffing around and I'm not sure if it is Xperia or not but there is a phone with a Blackberry flavour to it. Someone mentioned before the codename Abelin, it may not be the exact name but it does exist. As mentioned before, Satio 2 will be 12MP but more advanced than Satio.
Next years trend will be augmented reality. Check it out on Youtube, there are apps already on mobile devices but it will be featuring heavily in GPS and navigation software. It does require some power to work smoothly though.
New Pureness colours coming.

No, it will be available only in some special chosen stores. Much like Motorola Aura and LG GD910 (here in the Netherlands at least)

perhaps we should keep X10 discussions in its respective thread as it's no longer a rumor. Plus, I don't want to have to check back and forth for all the discussions!! HEHE. thanks

I very much doubt it. It is one of those special, expensive phones and is probably made in limited numbers. I think it's safe to say all Pureness owners will be paying full price.

Totally agreed.
@badassmam
You say Kurara will be a cash cow, so what price will it have then? Can't be that expensive?

^^^
Seems like information on that phone is thin cause I've asked about it a few pages back and got no response.
I had decided that Rachael was my next phone until I read about this Blackberry-esque SONY Ericsson. I'm still using my P1 and have been hoping for such phone (Abelin) to be released.

x10 and kurara were both ran out of battery. they didnt want to create a bad impression with their buggy beta software. yes, I was a bit disappointed. |
