Is it me or the pics look dull due to lack of colour(s) at full res.

I'd say we wait for the final commerical units, I really think it will improve, just like all K-flagships, unless it's a hardware problem!

those pictures came from a report comparing to a nikon DC.
in terms of color, i have a feeling that most people are too fond of the abnormally vibrant color off Canon consumer cameras and Nokia N series. (that's why both of them are popular) im not saying that cybershot cams are great, in fact the k850i retains a lot of the cybershot fingerprints, the purple-blue sky and ink-green. i'm not saying that the color is not washed out on k850i relative to an average DC.
but if you're complaining about the graininess/ lack of sharpness, neither Nokia N95 nor Sharp 910sh nor Casio Exilim phone W53CA can do any better. there's only so much a small module can do.
right now the only phone in the GSM world that can beat this would be Samsung G600/G800 (and LG LG920 if you managed to get one).

These photos are of great quality! Kicks N95 to THE GROUND!
And remember that these come from a preproduction unit with proto software. That's amazing.

pictures from the final production model won't be substantially different
the color, may be
so if u want pictures to look good in your backyard on googlemap (when viewed from oula space), get the N95. those colors will surely attract attention from out of space. lol. |

hmm. I guess this rumoured phone will be the first UIQ non-touchscreen phone from SE. Just look at the specs. It has some features that N95 doesn't even have and that are so advanced for a dumb phone.
It looks really sleek also. Its only down-side is that it doesn't seem to have 3.5mm head phone jack and 8 gb internal memory, but nonetheless, it is still a very nice phone to have (IF IT IS NOT A HOAX).
Hope will be out soon.

Yes, it will be a UIQ phone, look at the picture I posted at page 461.

which part of the phone gives you the impression that it will have DVB-H? the screen that you cannot see, the antenna that you cannot see, or the extra branding logo that you can't see as if cybershot and SE are not enough?
this is interesting.
I think it has an internal antenna for DVB_H. Nokia already have two phones that support DVB-H with internal antenna so I don't think it will be impossible for SE to do the same. |

SE should really present a stylish feature-packed phone as soon as possible. LG has just announced a phone with-to-die features. If SE continues to lag behind on high-end phones, LG might catch up. You don't want that to happen especially if you have a big 100 million phones sales target by the end of the year.
I hope SE's a true ultra high-end and stylish phone is just around the corner waiting to be announced. It's the right time to make some noise and be heard.

Here's a fun tidbit: The side of the box for the HBH-DS980 earbuds says "For use with bluetooth equipped devices supporting A2DP such as: Sony Ericsson W880, W610, W660, and W750"
A W750 hasn't been announced yet |

If I remember correctly, W750 was the previous code of the W910. You could find it in the press release of this event, too. |

Any rumors on when the next announcement might be? Do we have to wait till November or will we see an announcement in September since the Aug 14 announcement was just one phone. |
