I dont think Yaradua will be stupid enough to do that, he would have committed suicide, cos I'm sure he will be stoned to death in the north like an apostate!

But I think Buhari is the better option considering that Obj will burn Nigeria first rather than allow Atiku to be president.

This OBJ has become the greatest insult Nigeria has ever had. The man is making Abacha to look like a saint, all his loots and assassinations notwithstanding.

And has anybody been listening to Gani Fawehinmi lately? It is like the man has started smoking pots! How low can somebody get in his blind support for a kinsman? Gani is taking parapo (ethnicity) to a ridiculous extent.

@adrus: i dont know about ur "stoning" comment, but he has nothing to lose if he is actually unwell. PDP should have gone for Maikarfi or Muazu who actually have more grassroot support. For real, apart from his family lineage, who outside Katsina knows anything about him? I'll have to agree that Buhari seems to be a better choice. Lets just note this page and look back by nov 2007.

Informed!? Dont be ridiculous! Gani's recent opinions on recent events from Oyo to Plateau to PTDF have been anything but informed! You need to check them up again. The last thing I heard him saying about Plateau was that the impeachment was constitutional. Now the just justices of the NJC have shown how uninformed Gani's opinion had been by suspending the state's belligerent CJ.

And goodluck to you if you think the choice of an unknown, chronically ill Yaradua and the local oil thug who became a deputy governor is the best the Nigerian state can have. You need to go and find out about their antecedents (if you can find any).

If all that we have now are all that we will get, then BUHARI is it for me. He is about the only contestant now with some credibility. Most of the really good ones are rank outsiders in the race.

don't be surprised that yar'adua will outlive goodluck.

@All... The fact that goodluck has been chosen to be the no 2 man does not mean a sh*t to the restive youths of this niger-delta . The v.p is not a solution.

secondly, no party (on earth )can unseat pdp for the post of the presidency cos they have perfected the act of rigging.

Its so sad that in a country of over 150million citizens blessed with so many intelligent people, the best we have to offer are retired and recycled military officers. In the alternative, we settle for unknown people imposed upon us by some senile individual.

One by one,
On PTDF,Gani called for the impeachment of both Obj & Atiku.Where is the parapo sentiment in that.
On Plateau state,I neva heard Gani say Dariye's impeachment is lawful. But then,I dont see what he stands to gain for his tribe nor for Obj by saying so.If he said so,then its more of a question of what the constitution says than that of how the NJC feels.

Yes, those are Multilinks lines. My pal who uses a Multilinks line says there is no problem with the CDMA networks; calls are going through.

Another pipeline explosions in Lagos?! Is there anything about OBJ's tenure that made human (nigerian's) lives so cheap to dispense with? Major air disasters, massive pipeline explosions, unprecedented waves of unresolved political assasinations, Ikeja bomb blasts and the canals, violent, unchecked armed robberies, Odi, e.t.c.?! More Nigerians have died violently in many more ways in the last 8 years more than any other period since independence. Except may be for the period of the civil war.

As a mark of honour and respect for all those who died needlessly and violently during his tenure, I think OBJ should spent his retirement in a cemetry! Any seconder?!

talking about violent deaths i was nearly in one. i had a mad car crash on my way to abeokuta via the sango road on xmas eve, one truck broke down on the road and it spilled diesel all over the road
i was coming in at say 110/120 km per hr, which in my own opinion was adequate speed for that road. when my car got on the diesel i skidded like i was on ice and bamm, i hit the the culvert, the car flipped a couple of times and i got out of the car with the smallest of all scratches, its a miracle, i'm still in a state of shock, i took pictures of the car and cant still
believe i got out of it alive.

i wasnt the only one involved cos like 10mins after my crash one bmw also lost control and hit the culvert but it didnt somersault like mine, german ingenuity. the guy that got out was shocked also but when he got out and saw my car already totalled he knew he got a better deal.

i know that there is a God and he has got serious love for me. Never doubted him once but he keeps surprising me.

perhaps i will post a pic of the crash
