I don't have problem with wifi....and don't have any problem in other areas as well. I'm very happy with the connectivity of the phone. Since using the phone, I seldom use my laptop as the phone being my main browsing activity.

Definately far from crap...and I'm glad that I've chosen x10 over htc or other phone...

I think the wi-fi 'problem' you're referring to is the fact that when the phone goes to sleep it disconnects from the wifi right? I'm pretty sure this is a battery saving feature, but an option in the menu to 'keep connection alive' would be handy, but as far as I'm aware that's something that's the problem with android inherently rather than SE messing up the stock OS.

I only keep bluetooth off because my phone connects to any bluetooth device that supports headset bluetooth protocol. I hate that.

Wifi and GPS are allways on and if I don't leave an open widgets uses GPS, battery doesn't affected.

As far as timescape concerned, I like it, I update it from time to time and I like to show off with it

The wifi issue is a well known problem with the Sony Ericsson X10 since the initial firmware update from release. It's nothing to do with going into sleep mode it happens when in use.

Heres a video posted by another X10 user showing loss of wifi connection when completely in wifi range, thats crap and still not fixed.

In iPhone 4 you shoudn't hold your phone in your hand while you're talking, because you might loose signal, hence you can't make a normal phone call, and now you're worried about some wifi-problem in x10...

The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand...
