Welcome to the thread, psychonymphe.
If you browse through any of the 461 pages of this thread, you'll find that the majority of discussions revolve around cellphones, but that's not to say that anything from politricks to sport to anything deemed as of significance is ignored or regarded as taboo.

Can anyone suggest a good programme to get rid of mal/adware, trojans, and generally all the nasties that can infect a harddrive. I bought McAfee anti virus and spyware programme but I'm still getting messages saying my harddrive is infected. Should I just drop everything and get Ubuntu or stick with Windows?
BTW, welcome to psychonymphe(?)

@ da brixsta,
I run Lavasoft's Ad-Aware 6.0 on my PC, which I find superb.
Can't say I have any experience with Linux OS's though... |

@ psychonymph, welcome to the room. The discussions about the w810i vs the k800i have just died down, so survivor has our wrath now, or at least, theirs. I dont really watch tv.
Hard day of work. Was good though. Going to sit outside with a beer or two and play guitar for a while. |

Thank u all. Im still lamenting about the fate of the w900i, i so had my heart set on it. Was also waiting for the price to drop; guess i waited a month too long. This is a tad tragic...think i must stick to shoes, no discontinuations there.

@psychonymphe: Were you planning on getting the W900i? What made you change your mind apart from the relative price? I've seen quite a few people with it but it will never win a popularity contest with say the K750/D600 or Nokia 6230i which the more popular phones currently.
What can we call you psycho or nymphe? You choose

Ya the W900i was another phone that, besides Vodafone, no other UK network bothered to officially stock. |

I must say i consider myself lucky to have gotten this phone. Nice to have a rare phone. But some people mistake it for the chocolate. God forbid i wont ever stoop that low...
The one piece of advice i can give you, psycho is that there are more powerful phones out now, it not being the same, but in some ways it will compensate. And also, you cannot watch movies on your shoes, or listen to mp3s with them(aparently the same does not go for underwear anymore-our friends at apple are bringing tunes that are close to our crown jewels:-)

The last thing i want is a popular phone; also the w900i's size is actually a lot more practical than people give it credit. As for nokia, forget it. Option2 is the k800i. I meant2ask francois, u said the screen of the latter is smaller than that of the former - is this really so? Because as far as i can tell... It's worth taking into account that people's needs vary immensely - for example only geeks watch movies on their phones;) while its useful to be able to access tv channels etc, who the hell is going |

...to get home and relax in front of their cell? And if music is ur passion, rather invest in a killer system. As for me, i dont see Nine West getting their priorities confused!
