Hey the Xperia A is similar to the C670x except the screen resolution!
I believe C670X was just a fake rumor. I've still not heard a single word about it. It's nowhere to be seen in 2H 2013 Xperia roadmap

I'm tempted by Xperia A (Dogo) although I probably should wait for the One Sony phone. |

Yes.
APQ8064T for Japan = SO-04E
APQ8064 for Global = Dogo |

I am happy to report that One Sony approach is being followed for ALL Sony product line flagships. So every flagship Sony product from the sub brands - Bravia, Xperia, Vaio, Alpha, Cybershot, Handycam, and others will feature the best technology Sony can put in and be "better" than competition.
The approach will be seen full force in 2014 and late 2013 in some categories like Vaio and Xperia

How many 14+ inch notebooks do you know that don't have an optical drive? Even the macbook pro has one... |

Same here - the form factor (similar to that of the ZL with higher screen size to phone ratio), screen size (sub 5" screen) and removable battery (will it be 2300mAh or 2370mAh?) (which allows for extra batteries) are all great features that the Honami lacks...

Actually Xperia 1 sounds good. But what about phablet what would they call.I hope they better introduce new and better names to 2H phones.2H phones are suppose to be true Sony phones so they better name is right.
LOL. That was a joke
XR0
That's good to hear. I kinda hope they'll go with Z2 since it seems to have a brand name now. |

The good ones, Apple is not going to have optical drives in their new laptops, look at their retina. Samsung ultra series and Asus zenbooks are other examples. Sony hasn't made a good laptop in years (except for the Z-series which is too expensive), they should just quit the business altogether and go all in on mobile |

Dogo has a 2370mAh battery or a 2300mAh one?

Other than the retina, you're talking about ultra books, the F was/is a notebook. Why would an optical drive instantly make it bad?
Did Apple use the space for something else, like an extra hdd or better cooling? There are notebooks out there with the same specs as the retina (other than the display res...) and have optical drives. The Razer Blade is the only notebook I know of that used the space for better cooling and used a better GPU.
Anyway, I was just wondering if Sony is planning on somehow getting all their devices to work together like they've done with their new TVs and speakers... Are they planing any new type of interaction with their other devices which they'll be showing of with their new upcoming Xperias?

Already did. NFC One Touch connectivity. It will be in VAIO 2013 range as well. Already 2013 Bluray players, Bravia TVs and Home Theater systems support NFC One touch.
@nightwing
2300mAh = 2370mAh. Sony advertises minimum capacity of batteries and not the typical capacity. So when Sony says 2300, it's actually 2370

Probably an S800 device by LG.

So Qualcomm favors LG over Sony. |
