So (since its held in a public place without permission) its an illegal car meet where all the chavs go to show off their crap done-up £150 cars, and the odd few with a bit of money who bring their sports cars to show off to the chavs ?
They hold one near me regularly, and its a major pest problem.
I thought this picture looked pretty abstract:

Great photos!
I am sorta non-technical, but I've tried to attach a photo to this post. I sent it from my phone to my email account and it is in jpeg format.
Some of the photos on this thread are loads better quality, why is that? What would be the best camera settings for taking the best quality photos, with a view to sending them to other mobiles and email accounts? |

@ etaab
No matey , no chavs , it's a proper jap sports cars and not cheap done
up corsa,fiesta,saxos ect....
Only idots there are the odd boyracer who comes in and makes a pratt of himself in a done up corsa ect and gives everyone a chuckle. Also the meet is allowed by bluewater.
Mine is the worst there , ford puma rubbish
Most people who moan about these organised meets are just jealous twats who can't afford a nice car it's the ppl not going for the meet who are the problem.

There is a photo of a cat on a previous page which has a file size of over 500kb. My 2 pictures above are about 60 - 80kb. Is this why the cat picture is better quality? Is it because I had to 're-size' the picture to send it as a message to my email? If I download it using a USB connection then maybe it won't need to be re-sized and therefore won't lose quality??
Someone help a technophobe!

Good to hear, cause the one near me is full of those Corsa people
But i like Ford Pumas. Sure, they arent in the same league as say that NSX but hell, better than owning a Micra !
Im currently looking for a new car, i was thinking about getting a cheap MX5.

Have the exact same problem if you look at my post in side 44 in this thread. Installed the latest FW but that didnt solve the blur in left side on distant pics so contacted SE support today to see what they had to say about it, waiting for their replay. Hopefully this can be solved with further FW updates as alot of people seems to have this problem or else it might be a hardware issue in early versions of K750i mine is w18 05.

I sure hope so too I mailed SE in Denmark yesterday too - included my question in both Danish and English, since I don't trust Danish support people So far, no response. And yes, it seems it's mainly visible on distant shots (although on mine, left side is still slightly blurred in close-ups - tried taking a pic of a page in a book from 20cm, with macro on - sure enough, slightly blurred on left side, perfectly sharp on right).
Of course, no return policy for me - if it can't be fixed with firmware, it'll have to be fixed by SE themselves under the guarantee. If they can...
@hakenvisual: Under the camera settings, there's a menu item called "Picture quality" - it's probably set to "Normal". If you set it to "Fine" the images will be compressed less (around 300-600KB for large images) = better quality.

yeah for pictures that have distance on mine, it gets blurry on the bottom, and sometimes the sides, and the center is always perfectly sharp... maybe it's because it's focusing on the center object... but then again, close up pictures are perfectly fine for me. |
