Hey guys I am back!!! Was a bit busy with work. Now what is this happening here? I am away for a minute and you guys starts fighting 786 and k4m!k4ze you two, in here, both of you are grounded. Now give me those PSP and Playstation (Wheyyyy!!! I can play them now)Your only enjoyment from now will be the riddles in Esato
Right now XsuwailX well done you got two points for the horse apple question.
Blackspot, I am sorry you are disappointed, I knew when you posted the answer to the Yellow triangle that you were thinking on the right track and if you look a few posts back I did post that. But unfortunately I misread your answer and thought you are not fully correct and hence I asked for the explanation and later gave the point to k4m!k4ze. I would like to rectify the mistake but don't want ot penalise k4m!k4ze for my mistake . So if k4m!k4ze agrees I will give both of you guys half points each. Sorry
Now Lumememm asked this question a few pages back any one knows the answer. I can't get it. Since I don't know the answer no pints for answering this though
"Why do some birds fly to South in autumn?"

Now antother toughie and the good news this one is a TWO POINTS question. When you say the answer you have to explain how you got it as well.
John walks into a pub, orders a drink, and starts talking with the
Harry whom he is meeting after a long time. After a while, he learns that Harry has three children. "How old are your children?" he asks. "Well," replies Harry, "the sum of their ages is 13." John thinks for a moment and then says, "that's not enough information." "All right," continues Harry, "if you go outside and look at the building
number posted over the door to the pub, you'll see the product of their ages." John steps outside, and after a few moments he re-enters and declares, "Still not enough!" Harry smiles and says, "My oldest just loves vanilla ice cream."

ok since anish is not around, i'll post a riddle, a tough one -
My first is when my whole is heard,
My second sounds the traveler's rest,
My whole's a bird, and yet my third
Would drown its song and drench its nest.
What am I?
And since i took the initiative to post a riddle, i get one point

@anish - The answer for my riddle is, that it would take too much time to walk there, so they fly .
Don't get your riddle, should there be a question, too?
Edit: Ok, now you have one.

@anish, seriusly, what with the ice-ream, does that help answer it?
its 1,5 and 7 i think as the three numbers across from the pub must be consecutive, missing out the pub number

hmm... I'm guessing answer is 9,2,2
Explaination - Seeing that the sum is 13 and seeing that he explicitly mentions "oldest" , i came to the conclusion that he must have one older child and two younger children who must be twins.
Seeing the various combinations of ages which add up to 13, only 3 combinations add up to 13 - 9,2,2 , 11,1,1 and 6,6,1 and since his oldest is not one of the twins, 6,6&1 does not come into the picture
This is where i got stuck for some time, i could not figure out whether the answer was 11,1,1 or 9,2,2 but then i read the problem and found out that the guy could not find out the ages based on the product.
If product had been 11, anybody would have realised that 11 is a prime number and that answer would have been 11,1,1 but since he needed another clue besides the age product, it must have been 9,2,2
Of course if my assumption that they were twins is wrong, i just wasted 5 minutes typing this out
