@bobafett
why would u buy a pointless old and massive ericsson - when you could save up for something better like a newer ericsson (cos i know u like them!) or a cool se like k700?
and some of u ericsson lovers take the piss out of brick nokia phones when you have even bigger ones urselfs !?!?!?

@daredeviluk thx for your comment. compare an /// brick with a nokia brick and u ll get the answer. ever tried an r520 or r380? the knowledge and features are what counts, at the launch for example the fones mentioned by me were nokias far far away from that level. not to forget mention, that they fit the expectations of a business fone now a day too.

i use my fone 75% for surfing on the net, 24% calls 1% making pix and play on my t610. a short example. i surf mostly on wap here. its battery drains by my use after 4h surfing, it doesnt fit my hands after an hour cos its so small and the placing of the keypad. therefore its my secind fone. so, i use my r520, wich fits perfectly my hand, big buttons on it, excellent for my fingers and i can surf with it - using now bus11 600 mAh ly-pol battery - 10h long non stop. otherwise, those fones were made for the eternity. now a days u change your fone almost every 1 - 2 years, no need to make them so perfect as before. u could imagine, i can speak about it days long... its the 0,0001 of my passion and love for ///.

@bobafett:
I've just bought a cheap but apparently 'new' R520 off Ebay - it was a bit of an impulse purchase, as I already have a T610 and a few other phones I've bought and fixed, looks like the R520 may have been a wise buy after all! I'm thinking of putting a spare pay as you go sim in it and using it for wap browsing - sounds like it's a good platform for looking through Esato.... any advice/thoughts?

Thanks for that boba, will post some piccies when it arrives, still in the questionable hands of the Royal Mail at the moment!
In the meantime, here's a collection of the /// and phones i have currently: I've just fixed the T39 (had a mic fault) and just fitted a new screen to the T68i - both now working like a dream! By the way, I'm selling one of the GA628s if anyone's interested.
I've only recently started using the GPRS feature on my phone more (to browse Esato mostly! ), having only used it previously to quickly check a few football scores, so expect lots of silly questions on another thread or somewhere!!
