Is there an available app on the android market or from the outside than can play divx and xvid videos?thanks
Try Rock Player
Hi guys,
My girlfriend is having trouble with her X10 Mini Pro.
She got it unlocked from O2 to use her 3 Sim.
No problems there but she has lost her texts, cannot do a new text etc.
IF she resets it to factory defaults will the unlock remain in place? (I am almost certain it will) or is there an SE update out for it?
Should I simply flash and debrand it for her?
@Mark
put your old sim in the phone , backup the sms's and contacts to the sd card. put new sim in and restore them.
SMS app - Sms backup and restore
Contacts -vcardio
both are free

Ok, running 1.6 limits a lot of the newer, more stable apps... but so far, these are the apps I have running on my Mini Pro...
Apps...apps...apps...
I tried Rock Player but it's still way too choppy... the 600MHz CPU on the Mini and Mini Pro only runs the ARMv6 instruction set. Still looking for a decent DivX player...

When I try to connect it via Sony Ericsson PC companion, it says my phone has the latest software. Just tried nd got the same reply. Should I try anything different? |

pao, yup... all products in the X10 family (X10, mini and mini pro) will be getting the long deserved 2.1 update... I'm actually hoping they just skip 2.1 and give us 2.2 already... tethering and wifi hotspot are serious features that the X10 family could use!

@Spinz.. do not use the PC companion... Use the Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS)... it's a separate software available on the SE website

Oogamus, is the SEUS different from the Software Update built into the phone itself?

PC-Companion only checkse every second day. You have to restart it (it runns like a background process on Windows when the GUI is not visible) or reinstall if you can't wait and it should work unless you already have the latest SW. |

@ jplacson: Yes, they are different- the SEUS is the software supposed to run on the PC, whereas the Software update built into the phone is supposed to update the firmware Over the air (OTA)
@sampleit: 0.12?? - which region u from?
