I installed this driver last night after having tried a few others. This one is truly awsome. However since I don't have photographic memory to remember the readme file with all the settings I made a quick collection of "Manual" images (8 in total) with the information to put on the phone.

It's far from perfect but I thought it maight be of use to some people.
That's a good idea which might be even improved!
I think that the most needed image is the one with EV positions (in my case personalized). Hence I prepared a 320x240 image with the values that I needed, named it as DSC00001.jpg and uploaded to the camera images folder in the phone.
In this way you can easily access the needed help by just pressing the 'view' button inside the camera. No need to patch, no need to cancel phone image. Easy and safe.
Here is my 2 cents
The work can be done even in paint, but remember to leave some space on the top and on the sides, otherwise the text will be overlapped by the navigation text of the viewer.

To activate stabilizer you must be in landscape or twilight landscape scene mode and press "7" a small tripod will display at the bottom of the screen.
However as expected setting continuous zoom did not solve this bug, which must be specific of this R1JE001 branded firmware, Damnit! |

I think You didn't get my question.on the photo with EV positions on EV position
"-3.0" You have "balance yellow/blue"
How did You connected the "balance yellow/blue" to the driver? |

@budala: the last version of the driver includes the 'customization.txt' file which explains how to customize the driver. All you need to do is to open the driver with a text editor and do the changes you like more.
@number1: I know, but it is a vodafone france branded phone and I couldn't find the corresponding finalization files to update the firmware. Also I don't want it to be CID53 so I avoid SEUS as well.
If someone have these file they would be more than wellcome! |

@budala: it's already there, in the standard version also, but in position -1.7, I only shifted it to -0.3. What do you mean by 'connect with the driver'? It is already part of it, afaik. |

Yeah, the one with the EV positions is of the most help. I just made the others because I felt like being able to read all the other info later when needed, especially since this was the first time I used a supermode driver. Good idea to name it like that.
For me, the only image that got partly covered by the text on the phone was the one where the EXIF bug is mentiond and only the word "value" is covered. I could have moved that to the next image but it seemed more relevant there. After all I made these mainly for myself, not with the intention of it being used by many. If that would have been the case I wouldn't have stopped until I found them to be close to perfect.
Sure, you can use any photo editor you like to create them but I find using photoshop even for things like these gives you the most freedom. It's just a habit to use it for whatever. |

WHAT SETTINGS SHOULD I USE IF I WANT TO USE ISO100 TO TAKE PICTURES AT HIGH LIGHT SUNNY POOL BEACH SCENARIOS ?

don't get me wrong, but em and sem like i said before seem less accurate and faster... :S some pics come with much noise sometimes, a few versions ago this wouldn't happen :S

first: relax
second: ISO100 in very good light conditions? what for? camera will use automatic ISO and this will be ISO80. what settings? don't you have 'beach&snow' scene? better solution: try yourself and tell us

SEM/EM wasn't changed from the time of first release, so there is no such possibility. besides everything depends on light conditions, if you think that photo is not good then post it (in original size), explain used parameters and I will tell you what can be wrong

Thanks Goldmen! B-) Now I hope not to brick the phone
@blunden: I agree with everything you say. Since this driver is easy to customize it's impossible for people to produce osd for everybody.
I really appreciate this driver, there is power, innovation and easy of use in it. My congrats to Raider! |

Exactly.
I have to agree with your last two sentences. Great driver indeed. |

well since yellow isn't connected to the driver I suppose I have to connect it?
you don't have to because there's already yellow-blue balance function. benefits of yellow color function is x2 better accuracy (steps 0-30 only for one color, not like in balance 0-15 for yellow and 16-30 for blue)
are the standard modes (Landscape etc.) changed in any way other than a few tweaks?
no
What I don't like about other drivers is that they often completely change them to something that has nothing to do with what the GUI says making it confusing when you don't remember what they were changed to.
handshake... me too
When is SEM and EM good? The ISO value seems rather low which means it's only good for situations with a lot of light like a sunny day. However someone mentioned that it was good other situations too, but I might have misunderstood.
daylight: nice photo
low light: weak photo
low light + SEM/EM: nice photo
from readme.txt:
this modes are special modes which can dramatically improve picture quality in low light or even in very bad light conditions...
what happen to video? its different from the previous version 6.2.1? i seeing more little dots in v.6.3u, i mean not as clear as the previous version.
completely nothing all I can do is to change fps for video. nothing was changed
If sharpness were added, and put the selection to zero, does the sharpness will be in default sharpness of the driver v.6.3u?
yes, of course. 0 is always auto/neutral/default
butiliero
image stabilization is killing manual shutter speed (also on my R1KG001). right now I don't know reason of this (firmware or driver)
