If its your head gasket you have my comiserations, just had a new one fitted to our rover this week £500 and that was cash price. |

well fortunately I'm a member of the MR2 club and there's a fairly local guy who can do all this work for around £10-£15 an hour.
he reckons £250 will cover it normally, but while he's got it all apart I'll get him to replace any other bits that are looking worn
I can get a guaranteed 30,000 mile engine for £500 so that always a last alternative.

Just found out I failed university miserably this year. I've never screwed up so badly in my life and I don't know what to do. $4000 down the drain.

i know how it feels. i had been at an university for two years(1.5 years left to finish). i was suspended for a year, but i decided to move to another. i, practically started from zero. my dad'd spent a lot of money while i was there. now that i moved to another i decided to pay it myself. it's quiet cheaper

Nah, Playtime was on during my final exam, but I don't believe it was the cause. I only had one exam and the rest of my work that I failed was assessed in folio form a few weeks before Playtime started.
