what is the ringtone that you are using? what format? have you tried it on other contacts that do work?

The same ringtone (mp3) is working with X, but not with Y. On the other side, with Y is not working ant ring tone, I have deleted the contact Y, I introduced it again, but nothing. Same problem |

hmm. the only thing that comes to mind is that you have voice answering turned on when trying to use these ringtones with these contacts
with voice answering enabled, you cannot use MP3
but I somehow doubt this is the source of your problem...

Well, still waiting for my money to reach the seller......and my bank confirms everything is OK. I hope I can finally have the w880.Here in Spain they are going to be branded finally by Movistar--my operator---.I hope to be able to tell you about my w880 soon, the ebay one I mean |

When the phone is in low batt, the keys : 3, C and Shortcut will dim or blinking in orange light till the phone shut down. Anyone face this matter before? |

I havent faced it before, but it sounds interesting.
Previous S/// phones had a red blinking IR-Light. As the w880 has no more IR, they used an internal LED solution now.
While Loading when switsched of, these orange light is also visible.
Therefore it is obvious that it also flashes orange when batterypower is low. |

My W880i that kept turning itself off now seems to have fixed itself. it hasn't turned itself off for over 2 weeks. |

You need to have 2 credits to upgrade to CID 52. I am waiting for wotan server to update my credit, I purchased an additional 1 credit.

I have two questions for you guys:
i. how do i get cover art on all my albums. as of now, i got 3/4 that has cover art. in this process i have used iTMW and in itunes the picture are shown, but not all of them on the w880i.
ii. is the colors limited to the different countries aka w850i and to a certain extent w900i too? cos i got the silver version but i prefer the black version. what do you think about this?
i do know that the white w850i never came and never will come to norway, unless you import from overseas.
i suppose sony ericsson use the same strategy to the w880i. |
