Hi guys,
When ending calls when you close the slider do your phones hang up? I have mine set to "answer on slide" but it doesn't hang up on slide down. I find this really frustrating!
Also my walkman button icon (bottom left button) doesn't take me to the music player but it has the headphones icon on it? I have the phone on 3G but will unlock it soon - have debranded it but don't have an option to change this button/shortcut key. Also is there anyway to change the time the screen is on standby before it goes to screensaver?

isn't the walkman button the one that blinks with the rithm ??? (the big orange one above the Dpad)

i geuss so , i fee like ive missed something though the leds under the keypad are supposed to flash pink with your music , sony ericsson removed this feature  |

Mine flashed on the  bar and the d-pad lights, but orange not pink u big girl!

lol next i will be saying it flashes purple , that would be kool  , cant wait to get mine , can some one plz upload some pics so that i can see more of the w850i ??? thanks

I don't think that is the Walkman button. The walkman button is that orange bar below the screen. The original function of that button is the WAP (or what used to be the Online) button. What does that button of yours do?
Could those 850 owners who reported not having the blinking effect have the feature turned off? Maybe it's turned off by default.

Hi. Sounds like you are on 3. The "headphone" button is actually the internet button on a unbranded sony w850i. The walkman button is the orange bar in the middle. On 3, atleast my phone, the "headphone" button takes you the 3 music store web page.

the lights are by default set not to flash. Although, i have turned mine on, and only the bar flashes and nothing else, there isnt even any lights where the keypad (numbers) are?? It is also Orange.. where did pink come from? lol |

Well, colour is very subjective. What might be pink to others might be pink to you! Lol |

That's correct - is there anyway to set that button to a musical function? Also do your phones 'hang up' from a call when you close the slider? |

hi my phone has the headphones on the bottom because it was branded on 3 it takes you to "3music store" but when you deband it takes you to the internet

Hi mannitol,
I don't think there is anyway of making the button function as a music function without hacking or modifying the firmware. The normal use of the button is topen the web browser. so while you could change the homepage of the browser you can;t change the function itself of the button that I know of.
No. Mine doesnt hang up either when you close a slide which is a bit a missed thing considering you can open to answer so would make sense to close to hang up.
