Just got a faulty T66 today! I really can't believe how small the thing is! It's incredible! It doesn't get signal but I'm just waiting until I get the opportunity to get a mint one in the box.

The T66 was very prone to have the no signal fault. I havent heard of a fix for it though.

Already got a thread on this, but thought I'd ask the 'eriteam' if they new a solution to this!

I've got a T68i that's locked the the T-Mobile UK network. I'm trying to get it unlocked to any network via SEMCtool v2.2 and a DSS-25 SyncStation. However, I can't get it to unlock! Whenever I put the phone into the SyncStation, select 'clear SP locks' and press the 'do selected items' button, it keeps saying 'phone not power up'. The phone powers on to 'insert sim' stage, which I know it shouldn't do if unlocking. I've tried holding the power button, holding the 'C' button, pressing the power button a few times during the process, and inserting the battery after starting the unlocking process off, all to no avail.

Any tips on how to get this to work? I'd love to get this unlocked and be able to test it properly (haven't got a working T-Mobile sim, just a deactivated one, put a working one in briefly from someone at work and it appears fully working and not blocked) and be able to use it on other networks!

Looking at the T66 conversation, thought I'd have a look on Ebay for a T66, found this one which may be worth a punt!

It apparently powers up, but the seller can't test it as she doesn't have a sim from that service provider to try it - so it may well work! It's also boxed with all it's accessories, may be worth buying for them. Currently only £3 bid plue £4.95 packing, dunno whether to try my luck with that one!

the problem is, that it can die in every second, without any warning. if u are lucky, u can notice ( just as at r310 ) that it looses signal from time to time, but afaik at t66 it happens rapidly.

Today i had a conversation with a designer and she told that she has given the shapes even to Nokia phones. But she admitted that /// is more beatiful and when handling my T39m and z1010 couldn't understand at all, that they were models of history. She liked T39m more and especially the short antenna. Also z1010 with red colour made her say: that beaty cannot be two year old!

Indeed, the ericsson design always reflected the feeling of a real fone. Years long the models had common marks and this had lead that many users stayed loyal

What a pity, if the new T39m should come with nokia logo.

@ Boba:

I got my rose white case from a "dead unit of a T39m, too bad & with all my expertise, I could not get it to turn on again, although the problem is somewhat associated with the power amp which is similar to the mexican tranceiver on the T20 & R320 etc...the R520m & T39m have two (2) of these only relatively smaller.

I could not find a replacement for it either

I'm guessing no one can help me with my query, as I seem to have been largely ignored!
