To me it's just normal noise, if any. Without it the photo would look artificial.

You have a CID49 phone right? Do you have any idea if the improvement delivered by the firmware change is depedant on the CID version? I'm asking because I have a CID36 phone K750...

As u see. yes.. before it i have w800 most popular firmware ( i do not remember number) on photos were much noise than on photos from r1bd001.
i have no idea why...
i unfortunately have cid49, and because that i change firmware... |

I read some comments that K750 r1bd001 is bad for music player... There's also a W800 r1bd001 firmware... Would this one be good for photos too? |

I agree with Milu. I remembered I discussed about firmware and drivers a long time ago. And I also agree that firmware decide the quality of sharpness. It likes you are using a photo software to adjust sharpness. I hope I can turn w800i r1bc002 cid36 firmware to cid49 to test this.

If u have cid 36 do not change it to cid 49.. PLEASE DONT DO IT...
cid 36 is the best one to make perfect photos....

i dont know the r1bd001 for w800 FW, but i can test it...
i read about the r1bd001 for k750 is best for making good photos. and dont know quality of photos making by r1bd001 w800.
To proof my words tomorrow i'll post 3 amazing photos ( today i upload 4 photos  )
