BAD LEADERSHIP! A LEADERSHIP THAT IS MORE INTERESTED IN USING THE POWER OF THE STATE FOR WITCH-HUNTING, RATHER THAN A FOR A SYSTEMATIC APPROACH TO CORRUPTION-BURSTING.
Of the last few plane crashes in this country most occurred around the take-off period. Something tells me many of those aircrafts shouldn't have attempted take-offs but for high-level official corruption among aviation inspectors and their bosses. PEOPLE ARE JUST DYING NEEDLESSLY.
May Allah be pleased with the Sultan, overlook his shortcomings and admit him to Al-Janah. May God grant all the bereaved families the fortitude to bear their great losses.

Th problem we have in Naija is things like this come and go and no one even voluntarily resigns from office, talkless of get persecuted. If Criminal charges for Criminal Neglegence were put made on anyone and everyone that that have a hand in these past accidents (from the ground up to the minister) we would not see its reoccurance this quickly. Its when you know you can suffer horribly in a jail cell for the money you have chopped that will make you think twice. |

@coola: by the way, i confirmed your N6/min thing with Mtel. It was actually true. They tried to make it per min but failed. they now are doing it so per kb BUT they are not clear how much it is, only that an average hour's usage comes down to N360. I asked if im down loading heavy stuff will itn increase he says yeah. Until i can use it myself, i'll never know for sure.

Well they've blamed the crash on pilot error and wrong discretion. Of course he's unavailable to defend himself.
If something drastic isn't done about our aviation sector, we'll be discussing another crash before long. |

Will God answer such a prayer? I think we need a "national repentance" prayer service with Baba confessing and asking God to forgive us all.
I am not one for conspiracy theories... but notice the Abuja connection to the latest crashes?
ADC: Lag-Abuja-Sokoto
Generals: Abuja-Obudu
SOSOLISO: Abuja-PH
Bellview: Lag-Abuja
Something is up.
@all Personally, I am also in the middle of a serious crisis.
On Sunday evening a drunk Okada rider on high speed knocked my friend down as he was escorting me from a visit to his house. I had my first unforgettable experience of holding an unconscious person and calling on my Lord Jesus repeatedly for help. AND SPEAKING IN TONGUES
We spent yesterday in three different hospitals. Thank God, the dislocated bone and massive bruises are being treated in the National hospital under the National Health Insurance Scheme.... so our costs are greatly reduced. IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME.

Haba Coola!! You are a conspiracy theorist!!! Any how, most flights in nigeria run thru Abuja so it is to be expected!! |

@Abu: Abuja route does not handle half the traffic that Lagos does. how many airlines travel abuja-portharcourt? in Lagos, all the airlines have at least one flight daily. what about benin? enugu? calabar? owerri? no Lagos handles twice the number of flights that abuja does.
can you explain why all these crashes have all occured on weekends & in the 'mber' months?
conspiracy theory? give it a tot |

my condolence to your friend coola and to follow Nigerians that lost love ones in the ADC plane crash.
but i would ave easily been queueing up with those that lost their life in the ADC plane crash, cause, men of the underworld visited our premises over the weekend robbed everybody including the Landlord's apartment, injured a co-tenant with their locally man pistol, stole a white BWM car (as get away car, though), why i said this, is that as they were running out off our premises i just got home so assuming i was a minute earlier the might have though i was an armed police officer and difinitely opened fire on me, also God so confussed them, they didnt even visit my flat and throughout my wife and kids where home and never knew what was going on down stairs, so i want u to praise God on my behalf. also MFM prays does work and we are presently on 70days fasting in church.

@areafada: That's one hellava experience, personally I've never experienced crime of the nature where I felt my life or the lives of my family was threatened...I hope that day never comes.
About the airlines...I feel that honestly there doesn't have to be any crashes...if there are measures in place to check airlines it would vastly improve airline safety. I suspect owners of these airlines are cutting corners when it comes to maintenance.

Oga Amby!! No one disputes the volume of lagos flights. What i meant to say was that most flights pass thru abj as mid-stop. Virtually all flights from the North do. Lag is more of a terminal. Any how, there seem to be more incidents on the Lagos end than the abj end. (if you check flight crashes over the past 5 yrs or so).
As for conspiracy theories (of which i am a theorist!!!) i dont see one here. The "mber" months are the months with the worst weather. Raining seasons' last turbulent throws, harmattan's foggy mist leading to poor visibility, etc. No secret there. Next? |
