By the way have you got any information on which of the two has better water-resistance? R250s or R310s?

the pro is the winner imo the shark isnt that bad aswell, but the pro is more resistant - mainly cos of that amazing cover. shark is good at everyday usage, make a call in rain etc

Hi Guys!

Glad to inform you im now a happy owner of a "Bright Orange" R250s PRO & a recently accquired Vodafone A2618s. Sad story is the A2618s has problems & rarerly powers up for a longer time, I'm not so sure though whether its a battery problem or what.

Tried to fix it up but to no avail, meanwhile, the R250s Pro is indeed super, no box & just had a replacement charger for it. Damn this phone looks & feels much more sturdier than its younger brother R310s.

Its damn heavy but the weight feel gives you an undoubted sense of strength & endurance.

The A2618s was made in Hungary, I have no idea though as to where was the R250 made, but the battery indicates it as "Made in U.K.".

Will post pics once I get the chance

Nice buy on the R250! How much did it set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

@bleurdeur
Congrats on getting a R250s. They are huge but feel like they are built like a tank. I have one as well, it doesnt have the box but has all the accesories including the longer high gain aerial.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your kind words, the R250s was kinda around 25 euros if you convert there, no box anymore but this baby whacks the speaker phone function of all other ///, R380 & R520 etc.

The A2618s is no longer functioning I had determined that it was not the battery which was malfunctioning but the phone itself, but God was good to make me find an assumed wreck/dead A2628s, I tried to revive it & it working fine now. Its even better since it has WAP & uses the same battery as that of the A2618s.

@ Boba:

I guess the A2618 & A2628 were better models than that of the T66, T600 & R600 since it has support for snap on accessories, I'm using mine right now woth my HPR-10 Regarding the battery style, I guess this were the only units which used a wire type battery.

The R250 is has a display & features similar to that of the S868 & GH 688 except for the vibra function. The built is that of an SH888 coupled with that of an R310.

Pretty nasty
