I've not heard one person complain about the colours on the X10 screen so far. In actual use, it's still brilliant, even in bright sunlight. Nice to have of course but not essential if you ask me.

Agreed. Admittedly, I will be a little gutted if they don't add the 16 million colours, but it won't really affect my feelings about the phone.
And I might add, how many times in the past have we seen SE get the white papers wrong? As I remember, there have been several times.

I too would like to see 16m colours, I thought that was one of the certainties of the new FW.
I've complained about it in here as I see enough of that going on and it's not the top of my wishlist, but I've noticed banding in some of my photos (particularly ones with colour sky gradients in the sky) and it just doesn't look good when showing friends photos directly from my phone.

I can't seem to get the battery to charge above 94/96%. When i check the battery status it shows either of the values mentioned. The led indicator is lit green and the charging status says not charging even though the charger is still plugged in.
Anyone else have this or is it normal ?

No 16M colors support
No multitouch support
No HD video recording
Crap speaker
Bad SAR
I've already predicted your future complains!! Why ... cause SE repeats its crap-phone again and again since p990..
DELAYED - OLD SPECS - CRAP PHONE - END OF STORY ...
One more time just like 10 year old kids give your money to SE.... Now it's too late...
Next time do yourself a favour and buy GALAXY S ...
I feel sorry about you cause i understand poor guys that give ~500euros for this piece of junk!

sealover why are you here? I like X10 as it are, don't use it for filming videos and don't need multitouch so nothing to be angry about.

Sealover is an immature 16 year old. Ignore him, he's not worth our time.

@sealover
Assuming you dont own a Galaxy S, and you definately dont own an x10. Nor do I think you have had any where near the amount of experience i have had with both devices.
I owned the x10, currently have the galaxy s, and work with both frequently.
Ok, so the galaxy s may have SLIGHTLY better specs on paper, however, many of which are not of REAL world advantages (for me anyway) HD video (x10 about to get the same) SAMOLED, 512mb RAM, multitouch (still gimmicky imho) bla bla
And you know what, I find the x10 to be the better device OVERALL! The user experience is better, lets say.... more user friendly, Touch Wiz shucks! And 'AT TIMES', x10 can be more fluid. Battery is much better. Screen, while it isnt SAMOLED, the x10 image quality is still quite good! Ergonomics on the x10 are also much better imho!
Not to mention the LAG on the galaxy s. Time after time when I open apps, I get nothing but a black screen for a few seconds before anything happens. Honestly, I cant remember this happening on the x10, maybe a little, but not much. A bit annoying since galaxy is running 2.1 which support much better hardware acceleration (making much better use of that 1ghz proc!)
Also, Samsung software support (still) sucks! Its been out for quite a few months now and had, what, 1 update?
The x10 in that time had 2-3. Not that, in my opinion, it needed them, as the 1st firmware it was running seemed to be working ok!
Before you post such comments, make sure you have had EXTENSIVE experience with not only the x10, but to the device you are comparing it to!

Ive never been happier X10 Rocks for me! Like I said before,F THE REST! Bring on 2.1.Hopefully the XDA Developers community will take care of the rest for us if SE ditch us regarding Froyo.

I too am happy with my purchase of an X10. I'm not saying it's perfect but what out there is perfect? The upgrades are welcome but do not make or break my enjoyment and satisfaction.
I think those who have moaned in here perhaps didn't fully research before they bought. There's haven't been many surprises. The worst I can think of was the multi-touch scandal which came to light a couple days before release. Every other 'fault' was known well before and they've kept to their promises on updates, in my book there shouldn't be any complaints.
