@All ABOUT THE FREE NIGHT CALLS THING
After tryin it for three consecutive nights, I am taking a break. The practice can become addictive with conversations spanning several nights. Sleeping by 2 am every night does come with its problems.
So from tonight, my phones will sleep in my other room!
I think free night calls make sense only ON ONE NIGHT OF THE WEEK: Friday nights. |

A 10 yrs old boy had eaten suya about 15 days ago and fell sick, later when he had his health check done doctors diagnosed that he had AIDS. His parents couldn't believe it...?
Then the entire family under went a checkup none of them was suffering from that. The doctors checked with the boy if he had eaten out? And the boy says he had suya one evening.
The hospital team went there to check. They found the suya seller had a cut on his finger while cutting the onions, and his blood had spread in the food. When they had his blood checked... the guy was suffering from AIDS but he himself was not aware.
Please take care while u eat from road side suya or roadside vendors.

I told the person who sent this that it is NOT possible. What do u guys think?

It's impossible to have detected HIV after 15 days because of the 3 to 6 months window period. |

Yep, it's impossible. Aids is very difficult to catch...especially when it's not direct contact with infected bodily fluids.

Apart from the above quote,. it's also not possible to cnotract HIV orally i.e throuth eaten food items BUT ONLY THROUGH THE EXCHANGE OF BODY FLUIDS OTHER THAN "SALIVA"...QED |

I'm happy that the pus moved by coolapostle has been drained. However, we must not allow his faulty premise to distract us from his otherwise excellent conclusion.
Meanwhile our national assembly has ratified obj's ekiti madness, but it appeared that the ratification is a negotiated attempt at preventing what could have been a disgrace for this president. It appeared as if most assembly men felt that the emergency declaration was unwarranted but lacked the courage to look this rampaging president in the face. |

| I just read this post and i can't help but wonder the kind of health professionals we have in this country. There is no way one can detect HIV in d body within 10 - 15 days. The primary HIV test is simply an antigen-antibody test. Antibodies takes about 3months to be produced in an infected person. This initial screening is enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay [ELISA]
When a person is reactive to ELISA then he has to go for a confirmatory test (Western blot, or IFA). In ambiguous cases a second test is done after 1 - 2 moths. Did this boy go for any confirmatory test? Was this child medical history taken correctly? such as blood transfusion.
My conclusion is that the Suya man is not responsible for this boy's HIV but we should be careful of what we eat.
@All...Wish me luck cos i am about to collect form for the gubernatorial race
