in my opinion, you need to upgrade it to the latest
it's secure to upgrade. just go to sonyericsson.com/support and you will do it by yourself.

Upgrade. Its safe to do.Just take your time and follow the instructions and you'll have no problem. If you do,its not a train-smash.Just try again. Also try and do it using broadband and not dial-up.It makes a huge difference in the time it takes to install.

I'll do the firmware update then.
Are there any things i need to do before i update?
i ran the update without plugging the phone in.
on the instructsions it said to press the C key. i'll assume i'll have to reattatch the flip to update.
also, will it work on the standard USB cable? |

I've uploaded the Roller game on my phone & whenever I start it, my phone just couldn't stop vibrating. I got scared & immediately uninstalled it. I'm not really sure why it happened. Hope someone could help. Thanks! |

It is possible if you have the prototype, but it's not available in the final, retail version

Both WG1 and WG2 have the same stability if:
1) You have the latest and final fw
2) You have a "good" P990. A "bad" one will not behave no matter what your CDA is.

I have a little question. It's not really about the P990 but it concearns it anyway: Do Wi-fi 802.11b devices work on 802.11g networks but they just go slower than 802.11g devices or they just can't connect altogether? Also, do all 802.11g networks also broadcast in 802.11b?
Really considering getting a P990i BTW. It's really cheap nowadays. |
