titanium silver will make it look like a K700 or S700 flip style.... that would be cool.. and blends in with the silver grey body..
white will be available soon anyways.. so no point doin white.. might aswell get it later.. and try other colours since u intend to colour it.
red looks sexy.. but im not sure if it will match the silver grey body..
i'll go for titanium silver.. hopefully it wont look dull.. (tryin to imagine)

Ok I started on the white...progress is looking good..nice and glossy  Ala Ipod... Ok I need some advise how many coats of white should I apply? and how long is the normal drying time? I am using spray paint for cars. |

The V800 hasn't got the same processor as the K700 or S700 but it's the same hardware base (with a few modifications) as used in the Z1010.
By the way - the V800 will be released as unlocked version with original SE firmware in the new future. It will be named Z800 and it looks like the design will stay just like the V800. So maybe the Z800 will be a good phone after all ... without the crack vodafone software in it.

Do u mean are able to toke out those stupid vodafone function in the phone by flashing the FW from SE soon... ? |

any clues if theres any major differences between the branded and unbranded.. other than firmware issues?? any guess?

they're not going to suddenly add EDGE to the non branded version... it'll be exactly the same if it's going to be released.

u might not know wat SE hav on their minds... juz look at S700i and S700a... exact same phone but S700a has edge for the US. I juz hope the unbranded will be the same as V800.. coz im gettin the V, and I'll get pissed if they added extra features for the unbranded.. which is gd, but im stuck with the current V800.. so u know wat i mean...

You can always reflash it to support EDGE, because I don't think EDGE is hardware based feature, at least that is what someone made me to believe. |

where would  release this 'Z800' do you think?
In countries that support 3g UMTS perhaps?
How many of those countries do have EDGE networks in place as well?? 
By the way...... seeing as my country currently has 2 operators offering 3G, one being Vodafone, there is always a chance the 'Z800' will not be released here anyway.... unless Orange decides to follow the lead of Orange UK very soon
Apart from the UK and Sweden, where 3 is operating, how many countries already have another operator (meaning: NOT vodafone) offering 3G services to private mobile phones? Which operator?

y we always end up talking baut network and services... im talking juz baut the phone.. like.. maybe they add fullscreen playback, menu desktop for external screen, external video playback/pic id, that kind of stuff..
